Liner Cleaning
Remove the ear pads and neck roll and hand-wash the liner with mild soap and warm water. Air dry completely before reinstalling — trapped moisture causes odor and breaks down the EPS foam over time.
Shell Cleaning
Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, and aerosol sprays — they degrade the polycarbonate shell and can attack any integrated tech layer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. UV and trunk heat degrade the shell glue and EPS over a season or two. A helmet bag protects the finish.
Replacement
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even impacts that don't show visible damage can compress the EPS. Most manufacturers, K2 included, recommend replacement after 3-5 years of regular use even without a crash.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.

Helmets are sized by head circumference (cm) — wrap it just above your eyebrows, around the widest point of the head. If your rider is between sizes, size up for room to grow. The Emphasis fits women's head shapes (smaller volume than men's equivalents). Compatible with most ski goggles — low-profile shape works with K2 goggles and most other brands.

Adds a low-friction layer inside the helmet that reduces rotational forces on the brain during angled impacts. This version comes standard without MIPS — MIPS is an optional upgrade.
Women's-Specific Design
Women's-specific design — tailored to the anatomical differences of women's head shapes. Narrower last, reduced volume around the temples and crown, properly proportioned for female head proportions.
In-Mold Construction
In-mold construction fuses the EPS foam liner directly to the polycarbonate shell — lighter weight and better impact dispersion than traditional hard-shell helmets. Premium look and feel with modern protection.
Goggle Compatibility
