Wipe the skin with a damp cloth to remove dirt and skin wax buildup. Air dry before storing to prevent mold.
Adhesive Care
Store skins with the backing film in place to protect the adhesive. In cold conditions, warm the adhesive slightly before applying for best bond.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in the included skin bag to protect the plush and adhesive.

Mohair-Nylon Blend Plush
The premium mohair-nylon blend balances grip (for the skin track) and glide (for flatter sections and traverses). Mohair provides the grip; nylon adds durability and faster glide on hardpack. The result is a skin that climbs efficiently in all snow conditions without excessive drag on the descent.
Precision 89mm Cut
Cut to match 89mm-waist skis exactly — a tight fit on the base is critical for efficient skinning. Too narrow and the edges catch; too wide and the skin drags. The 89mm spec is the sweet spot for mid-fat touring setups like the K2 Wayback 89.
Waterproof Re-Positionable Adhesive
Reliable waterproof adhesive holds strong in cold, wet conditions, yet peels cleanly for storage between tours. The re-positionable formula means you can re-align the skin mid-tour without losing stick — a huge plus when conditions change or the skin shifts on the climb.
Tip and Tail Clips

Pre-fitted tip and tail clips attach the skin securely to the ski. The tip clip locks into the ski's notch and the tail clip grips the back of the ski — no need for additional bungee cords or straps. Designed for quick on/off in cold conditions with gloves.
Pre-Cut Length (153–160 cm)
Pre-cut to fit 153–160 cm skis out of the package — no trimming required. Trimming climbing skins to length is a common failure point for new users, so the pre-cut length eliminates the guesswork and gets you touring faster.
Backing Film Included
Comes with a backing film that protects the adhesive during storage. Keep the film on between tours and the adhesive will stay clean and sticky for years. The film peels off easily when you're ready to apply.
