K2 Verdict Men's Helmet

When did helmets get so complicated? Take a look at the wonderfully uncomplicated Verdict. It's comfortable, protects your head, and won't break the bank. Boom. Simplify your life, protect your noggin, and get your hands on the Verdict.

In-Mold Shell Construction
The Verdict uses in-mold construction where the polycarbonate outer shell is fused directly to the EPS foam liner, creating a single integrated structure. In-mold builds are lighter than traditional hardshell helmets while still meeting the same ASTM F2040 and CE EN 1077 safety standards — less weight on your head, less fatigue over a long day on the mountain.
Passive Channel Ventilation
"Passive channel venting" — the Verdict's vents are always open, channeling airflow through internal channels in the EPS foam to draw heat and moisture away from your head. No switches to flip or covers to open — the ventilation works passively as you move, keeping goggles clear and your head cool without the hassle of active vent controls.
Dial Fit System
The rear-mounted dial fit system lets you micro-adjust the helmet's snugness with one hand, even with gloves on. Turn the dial clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen — the adjustment is precise and repeatable so you get the same fit every time you put the helmet on.
Removable Earpads + Audio-Ready
The earpads are removable for warm-weather riding or to make room for beanie/balaclava layering in deep cold. The Verdict is designed to be audio-system compatible — drop in your favorite aftermarket audio kit (sold separately) and run music or a Bluetooth comm system without modifying the helmet.
Goggle Compatibility
The Verdict's low-profile shell is designed to integrate with most major ski and snowboard goggles without a gaper gap at the forehead. The brim is sized to fit goggles with standard straps, and the helmet sits at a height that pairs cleanly with both over-the-glass and traditional frame goggles.
Universal Sport Use
"When did helmets get so complicated?" — the Verdict is built for both skiing and snowboarding without sport-specific tuning. The certification covers alpine skiing, snowboarding, and other snow sports, so one helmet covers everything from groomer days to park laps to sidecountry hikes.

Drying
After each session, remove the earpads and liner (if removable on your model) and let the helmet air-dry at room temperature. Don't leave a wet helmet in a cold car or gear bag — trapped moisture can degrade the EPS foam over time and cause the interior fabrics to mildew. A helmet drying rack or simply placing the helmet upside down on a flat surface works well.
Shell Cleaning
Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and salt. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners that can damage the polycarbonate finish. For the EPS foam interior, a soft brush or lint roller removes dust and hair. Never submerge the helmet in water — water trapped inside the EPS can degrade the foam and compromise impact protection.
Earpad + Liner Care
Remove the earpads periodically and hand-wash with lukewarm water and mild soap if needed. Air-dry completely before re-installing. For the interior fit pads, a gentle hand-wash and air-dry works well. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying — heat and agitation can damage the foam structure and affect fit.
Storage
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. UV exposure degrades the polycarbonate shell and the EPS foam over time, reducing impact protection. A helmet bag or dedicated gear bag is ideal for transport. Don't store heavy objects on top of the helmet — the EPS can compress over time and lose its protective shape.

K2 Verdict Men's Helmet — Fit + Tech Block
Fit + Tech K2 Verdict Men's Helmet
545g (M) In-Mold ASTM F2040
📐
Size Head Circumference (cm) Best For
Small (S)51 – 55Smaller heads, youth-adult crossover
Medium (M)55 – 59Average adult men's head
Large (L)59 – 63Larger heads, hat size 7 5/8+

The Verdict comes in 3 sizes covering most adult men's head sizes (51–63cm). The dial fit system at the back lets you micro-adjust snugness on the fly — start by measuring your head circumference just above the eyebrows (the widest part of your head) and pick the size that puts you in the middle of its range. The in-mold construction sits low on the forehead without a gaper gap, and the removable earpads give you layering room for a beanie or balaclava in deep cold.

The rear-mounted dial fit system lets you micro-adjust the helmet's snugness with one hand, even with gloves on. Turn the dial clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen — the adjustment is precise and repeatable so you get the same fit every time you put the helmet on. The system distributes pressure evenly around the head for a secure, comfortable fit that doesn't create pressure points.
EPS Foam Liner
The expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner is the impact-absorbing core of the helmet. The Verdict uses a single-density EPS tuned for all-mountain impact protection — heavy enough for high-speed crashes but light enough for all-day comfort. The foam is fused directly to the polycarbonate shell via in-mold construction, eliminating the gap between shell and liner that can compromise protection in lower-quality helmets.
Removable Earpads
The earpads are removable for warm-weather riding or to make room for beanie/balaclava layering in deep cold. The Verdict is designed to be audio-system compatible — drop in your favorite aftermarket audio kit (sold separately) and run music or a Bluetooth comm system without modifying the helmet.
545g Lightweight
At 545g in the medium size, the Verdict is one of the lighter helmets in K2's line — the in-mold construction and streamlined vent design keep the weight down without sacrificing protection. Less weight on your head means less neck fatigue over a long day of charging, and the lighter feel makes the helmet easier to forget you're wearing.
