Leather Care
The Taro Tamai RS's premium leather upper is built to last, but proper care extends the life of the leather and maintains its natural water resistance. Treat the leather with a leather conditioner or waterproofing spray at the start of each season (and as needed throughout the season). Wipe down the leather with a damp cloth after riding to remove snow, salt, and debris. Allow the boots to dry completely before storing — never force-dry with heat, which can crack the leather.
Liner and Footbed Care
Remove the liner and footbed periodically to air out the boot and prevent odor buildup. The liner can be hand-washed with mild soap and water (avoid harsh detergents) and allowed to air dry completely. The footbed can be cleaned with a damp cloth. If the liner loses its shape or support, replacement liners are available from K2.
Lacing and Hardware
Check the laces, lacing hardware, and any buckles or BOA dials periodically for wear. Replace laces as needed — frayed or broken laces can fail mid-run. If the boot uses BOA dials, keep them clear of snow and ice, and replace batteries as needed. The lacing system is designed to be user-serviceable for field adjustments.
Storage
Store the Taro Tamai RS in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving the boots in direct sunlight for extended periods — UV exposure can fade the leather and degrade the materials. Keep the boots loosely laced (not tight) during long-term storage to maintain the leather's shape. Stuff with newspaper or boot trees to help the leather hold its form.

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

 Gear & Apparel:

Outdoor Gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 5-21 business days. Please reach out to us with the most up to date deliveries times as they vary per Manufacturer. 

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
