FlipJaw Adjustment Mechanism
Connects a smaller upper shaft to a larger, more durable lower shaft for easy length adjustment as your child grows. The FlipJaw mechanism is a simple twist-and-lock closure that lets parents adjust the pole length in seconds without tools. Smaller-diameter upper shaft telescopes into the larger lower shaft for a secure, wobble-free fit at any length.
Nesting Pole Baskets
When collapsed, the shaft nests into the basket for a compact, secure package that's easy to pack and transport. The baskets are designed to accept the collapsed upper shaft, so the whole pole fits into a compact 75 cm package for transport, storage, and travel.
Wide 75–105 cm Adjustment Range
"One pole for every growth spurt" — the 30 cm adjustment range covers most of a child's growth from age 4 through age 12+. No need to buy a new pole set every season as your kid outgrows the previous length. The same pole works for beginner groms at 75 cm and tween riders at 105 cm.
Aluminum Shaft
Lightweight aluminum construction balances durability with swing weight appropriate for juniors. Aluminum is the right material for a kids' pole: light enough for small bodies to swing, durable enough to handle the inevitable falls and abuse. Not as light as carbon, but much more affordable and more forgiving of crashes.
Rubber Junior Grip
Soft rubber grip is comfortable for small hands and stays warm in cold conditions. The junior-specific grip diameter matches the smaller hand size of children, making the pole easier to hold and control. Rubber stays warmer than hard plastic in cold weather and provides better grip when wet.
50mm Hard-Snow Performance Basket
50mm hard-snow basket sized for alpine skiing on packed and groomed snow. The smaller diameter keeps the pole from getting caught in deeper snow off-piste but still provides enough surface area for the typical resort conditions kids ski in. Standard basket thread fits most aftermarket replacement baskets.
Steel Tip
Hardened steel tip bites into hardpack, ice, and variable spring conditions without bending. Standard replacement thread pattern means you can swap tips on the mountain if one gets damaged — and kids do break tips.
Girls-Specific Strap
The strap is sized for smaller junior hands — smaller diameter opening than adult straps so kids can comfortably insert their hand and not have to fight the strap on every chairlift ride. Standard thread pattern fits most aftermarket replacement straps.
