Binding Care
Wipe down the Formula's baseplate, highback, and straps with a damp cloth after each day of riding to remove snow, ice, and debris. Keep the ratchets and ladders clear of snow for smooth operation. The baseplate and highback are designed to handle years of hard use with minimal maintenance.
Strap and Ratchet Care
The Formula's straps and ratchets are designed for the demands of all-mountain freestyle riding — but inspect them periodically for wear. Keep the ratchets and ladders clear of snow and ice for smooth operation. The ladder straps can be replaced if they become worn or frayed. The binding hardware is designed to be user-serviceable for field adjustments.
Disc and Mounting Hardware
Check the mounting hardware (disc screws, baseplate screws) periodically to ensure they're tight. The Formula's mounting disc is compatible with 4x4, 2x4, and Channel mounting systems (with appropriate inserts). If the disc becomes worn or damaged, replacement discs are available from K2.
Storage
Store the Formula in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving the bindings in direct sunlight for extended periods — UV exposure can degrade the plastics and straps over time. Keep the bindings in a bag or on a rack to protect them from dust and damage. If storing for an extended period, loosen the straps to prevent compression damage.

Real boot-compatibility data pulled directly from the K2 Formula product page. 5 sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) — the widest size spread in K2's binding lineup, covering everything from junior riders (XL = US Junior 11K-1) through men's XL boots (L = US Men 11-15). Note: the men's S/M/L sizes overlap intentionally (S covers 5-9, M covers 8-12) so boot sizes at the boundary (8-9) can fit either size depending on boot brand and foot volume. XL is a unique junior size — designed for kids riding men's bindings. Works with all standard snowboard boots (not specific to men's or women's).
