Cleaning
Wipe down the Boot Locker Bag with a damp cloth to remove dirt, salt, and debris. For tougher stains or mildew (from storing wet boots), use a mild soap and water solution and a soft brush. Avoid harsh detergents or solvents that could damage the 400D ripstop nylon or the waterproof zipper coatings. Allow the bag to air dry completely before storing — especially important if you've been carrying wet boots.
Drying Wet Boots
The ventilated compartment is designed to help boots dry between sessions. After a day of skiing, remove any snow or excess water from the boots before placing them in the bag, and leave the bag unzipped (or partially open) to allow air circulation. For faster drying, use boot dryers inside the boots. The ventilation in the bag works best as a complement to other drying methods, not as a replacement.
Zipper Care
The waterproof zippers are designed to keep moisture out, but they require basic care to function properly. Keep the zipper teeth clean of debris, and lubricate with a dry lubricant or beeswax if they start to stick. Avoid forcing the zipper — if it gets stuck, work it back and forth gently to clear any obstruction. The waterproof coating on the zippers will wear over time; replace the bag if the zippers fail.
Storage
When not in use, store the Boot Locker Bag in a cool, dry place.
