One of K2's best-selling boards in the Landscape Collection, the Passport, is now available for young rippers ready to take their skills to the next level. The Passport Jr builds off the proven shape of the original, redesigned specifically for kids who are cruising groomers, chasing pow, and pushing their limits all over the mountain. Directional Combination Camber puts traditional camber between the feet for solid edge hold and pop, with rocker at the tip and tail for a less catchy edge and easier float.

Aspen Core
The lively Aspen core delivers smooth flex and quick response. Aspen's tight grain structure provides consistent flex pattern after flex pattern, so the board feels the same on run 1 and run 30 of a deep day. Lightweight for easy maneuverability by smaller riders.
Biax Fiberglass
Biax fiberglass adds the ideal mix of forgiveness and control. The biax orientation (fiberglass at 0° and 90°) provides consistent flex in both directions, more forgiving than triax but with enough response for committed park riding and all-mountain charging.
Sintered 4000 Base
Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax easily, keeps things fast, and is built to handle anything the mountain (or the groms) throw at it. The high-end sintered construction holds wax longer than extruded bases for consistent glide.
Lightweight & Easy to Maneuver
"Lightweight and easy to maneuver" for smaller riders still dialing in their style. The Directional shape and Combination Camber give younger riders the stability they need when the snow isn't perfect, while staying light enough to maneuver for smaller bodies.

Base Care
Wax every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the bases look dry or white. The Sintered 4000 base holds wax longer than extruded bases, but regular waxing keeps the glide consistent. The Stone Finish adds micro-roughness for improved glide in variable snow.
Edge Care
Check edges periodically for any dings from rocks or rails. Sharpening can wait longer on youth boards since younger riders are still learning edge technique. When edges do need sharpening, a proper edge file or a stop at a local shop will restore them.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place between sessions — a closet, gear locker, or board bag works well. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or garage, where temperature swings can damage the core, base, and topsheet. Use a board sock or bag for transport.
Binding Maintenance
Check binding mounting screws seasonally to make sure they're tight. The directional shape benefits from bindings mounted 1-2 cm back from the center stance for proper setback engagement. Remount if the child outgrows the current stance width.
