Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Extruded 2000 base is durable and low-maintenance — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. Regular waxing keeps the base performing and extends its life.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport. Loosen or remove bindings for long-term storage.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rails/boxes, or at the start of each season. For a park-focused board, consider a slightly more detuned contact point setup for a less catchy feel on boxes and rails.
Base Repair
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry it before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. The Extruded 2000 base is easier to repair than sintered bases — most home repair kits work well on it.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern gives flexibility for stance width and setback. Mark center inserts for a centered true-twin setup (recommended for park and switch riding). The Chloro is symmetrical so the same stance can be used in either direction.
