The Spring Break Resort Twin is the series for Spring Break fans seeking a resort board in traditional widths with the power and pop to excel at freestyle resort riding. Unlike the powder-focused Spring Break boards (Glider, Racers, Powder Twin) with their extra-wide waists, the Resort Twin uses traditional widths (25.0-26.5cm) for resort/freestyle riding — a true twin shape with 0 taper for switch capability, multi-radius 3-stage sidecut for versatile turn shapes, and the same premium Spring Break construction (P2 Superlight Core, Holysheet fiberglass, Carbon Fiber additives, Powder Drive base) for resort/freestyle performance.

True Twin Shape (0 Taper)
The Resort Twin features a true twin shape (0 taper on all sizes — confirmed by identical nose/tail measurements: 29.6/29.6, 30/30, 30.4/30.4, 30.8/30.8, 31.2/31.2, 30.9/30.9, 31.3/31.3). This symmetrical shape lets you ride switch in the park, spin off jumps, and land freestyle tricks in either direction. The traditional widths (25.0-26.5cm) make it a more versatile resort board than the extra-wide Spring Break powder boards.
P2 Superlight Core™ + Beech Stringers
We took our extremely lightweight P2 Superlight Core™, added high bending and shock absorbing Beech stringers running through the inserts for increased strength and even snappier pop. The P2 Superlight Core delivers the ultralight weight and pop needed for freestyle resort riding, while the Beech stringers add the strength and dampening for landings and edge hold. The result is a core that's light enough for presses and spins but strong enough for aggressive park riding.
Holysheet™ Fiberglass
HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. The high-end fiberglass pairing ensures the Resort Twin can handle aggressive freestyle riding while keeping the lightweight feel needed for presses and spins.
Carbon Fiber Additives
Known for its rigidity, high-tensile strength, low weight, high-temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, Carbon Fiber is one of the most popular materials used in today's high-performance applications. CAPiTA integrates different adaptations of carbon fiber to increase power and response — strategic placement for added pop and edge hold without the weight penalty of full carbon layups. PLT Topsheet Technology™ is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without using any solvents or toxic lacquers in finishing. The lightweight topsheet is critical for the Resort Twin's freestyle-friendly feel — every gram matters when you're spinning and pressing.
Powder Drive™ Base
Dynamic and durable, easy to maintain and reliable, this base material is electric through the trees and fast over the flats. After Use
Wipe down the base with a dry cloth to remove snow and moisture. The PLT Topsheet finish is durable and easy to clean — just a quick wipe with a dry cloth after each session. The Resort Twin's true twin shape means both ends see equal wear — rotate your binding stance periodically if you ride predominantly switch to ensure even base wear.
Base & Edge Maintenance
The Powder Drive base is dynamic and durable, easy to maintain and reliable. Wax regularly — every 4-6 days of riding, or whenever the base looks dry or white. The true twin shape means both edges see equal wear — sharpen both edges regularly to maintain switch performance. The resort/freestyle riding style means more rail and box contact — inspect edges regularly for damage and file as needed.
Storage
Store the board flat or on its base in a board bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. The P2 Superlight Core + Beech Stringers is ultralight but can be more sensitive to prolonged high temperatures than heavier cores — avoid leaving the board in a hot car or garage. The true twin shape stores easily in most board bags.
Binding Compatibility
The Resort Twin is a true twin with inserts centered on the board — standard 4x2 or 2x4 mounting pattern, compatible with all major binding brands. The medium-stiff flex and true twin shape pair well with medium-stiff to stiff freestyle/park bindings (like the Union Contact Pro, Burton Cartel X, or NOW Drive). The traditional widths (25.0-26.5cm) make this a versatile resort board for park laps, side hits, groomer carving, and freestyle progression.
