Youth Chuckwalla Daypack
Daypack · Youth · 27L · FlexVent™ Suspension · ACA Certified

With plenty of room for a laptop, lunch, books, and supplies, the Youth Chuckwalla Daypack keeps kids organized with a secure-zip front pocket and two water bottle pockets. Plus, the FlexVent™ suspension system has articulated shoulder straps and a rounded back panel to help keep them comfortable during long days at school or summer camp.

FlexVent™ Suspension System — ACA Certified
The FlexVent™ suspension system is certified by the American Chiropractic Association — features articulated shoulder straps, a rounded back panel, comfortable stitch lines, and soft-touch chemise fabric for all-day comfort and proper posture support.
16'' Laptop Sleeve
Large, zippered main compartment with a padded 16'' laptop sleeve — handles school computers, Chromebooks, and most student laptops with room for books, lunch, and supplies around them.
External Secure-Zip Front Pocket
External, secure-zip pocket on the front of the pack provides easy access to smaller items — pencils, calculators, snacks, bus passes, and other daily essentials that need to be grabbed without opening the main compartment.
Two Stretch-Mesh Water Bottle Pockets
Two stretch-mesh water bottle pockets on the sides accommodate standard school bottles and camp thermoses — the stretch fabric expands for full bottles and contracts back when empty, keeping the silhouette clean.
Adjustable Sternum Strap w/ Breakaway Whistle Buckle
Adjustable sternum strap with a breakaway whistle buckle — adds load stability when the pack is heavy and provides a safety whistle for emergencies on hikes, summer camp, and outdoor school trips.
Reflective Details
Reflective details on the pack increase visibility in low-light conditions — important for walking to school in early-morning dark or coming home in winter evenings, and for visibility during outdoor camp activities.

Cleaning
Spot clean the 600D recycled polyester body with a damp cloth and mild soap. For a deeper clean, hand wash in cool water with a gentle technical cleaner — avoid machine washing, which can damage the FlexVent™ suspension system, deform the back panel, and stress the zippers beyond what a kid's daypack is built for.
Drying
Air dry at room temperature with the main compartment open and all pockets unzipped. Don't use a dryer or direct heat which can warp the back panel and degrade the soft-touch chemise fabric.
Sternum Strap Care
The breakaway whistle buckle is designed to release under load if the pack gets caught — test periodically to confirm it releases properly, but don't force it beyond normal pressure. The whistle works even when the buckle is broken away.
Laptop Sleeve Care
Wipe the laptop sleeve interior with a dry cloth occasionally to keep it free of crumbs and debris. The padded sleeve provides impact protection but won't protect against liquid spills — keep liquids in the side mesh water bottle pockets, not in the main compartment.
Hardware Maintenance
Wipe the zippers with a dry cloth occasionally to keep them operating smoothly. If a zipper sticks, gently work it back and forth — never force it, which can bend the slider on a kid's pack that's already taking daily abuse.
Storage
Empty the pack completely between school years or camp sessions and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang or stand upright to maintain the back panel shape. Don't store with food wrappers or sticky residue left inside.
