Recycled Polyester Body
Front body and back yoke use 76% recycled polyester; back body uses 100% recycled polyester; liner short uses 58% recycled polyester. Diverts plastic bottles from landfill and reduces dependence on virgin petroleum-based fibers.
Secure-Zip Pocket
Secure-zip pocket on the center back of the waistband — sized for a phone, keys, or a couple of gels. The zipper keeps essentials from bouncing out or falling out mid-stride.
Split Side Hem
Split hem at the side seams opens up the hemline for increased mobility — no binding at the hip when you're lengthening your stride on the uphills or reaching for a downhill cadence.
Internal Liner Short
Built-in liner short with FLASHDRY™ moisture management and anti-odor technology. 4" inseam gives moderate thigh coverage without riding up. The skirt portion drapes over the liner for a flattering silhouette.
Liner Drop-In Pocket
Drop-in pocket on the right thigh of the liner short — convenient for stashing a key, card, or single gel when the back waistband pocket is occupied.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild technical-fabric detergent (no fabric softener, no bleach, no harsh additives). The non-PFC DWR finish, LIGHTRANGE™, and FLASHDRY™ treatments will last longer when washed without softeners, which can coat the fibers and reduce performance.
Zip & Close Before Washing
Zip up the back waistband pocket before washing — the metal/plastic zipper can snag the ripstop or jersey knit on other items in the load, and an open pocket collects lint that dulls the fabric.
Turning Inside-Out
Turn the skort inside-out before washing to protect the outer face fabric, reduce abrasion on the ripstop front, and minimize pilling on the jersey-knit liner.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. The recycled polyester body and elastane waistband will dry quickly. Skip high heat — it can damage the elastic recovery of the waistband mesh and reduce the longevity of the FLASHDRY™ treatment.
DWR Refresh
When water stops beading on the outer fabric (instead of soaking in), refresh the non-PFC DWR with a spray-on water repellent specifically labeled PFC-free or non-PFC. Apply to a clean, dry skort and cure with heat (tumble dry low for 20 minutes or hit with a hair dryer on low) to reactivate the finish.
Anti-Odor Care
The anti-odor treatment is built into the fabric and recharges with regular washing and drying — no special wash needed. If the skort smells funky after sweaty runs, soak in a 50/50 mix of cold water and white vinegar for 30 minutes before washing.
UPF Care
LIGHTRANGE™ UPF protection is built into the fabric finish, not coated on top. It won't wash out — but stretching the fabric (over-stuffing the pockets, hanging heavy items on the waistband) can temporarily reduce coverage where the fabric is stretched thin.
Stain Treatment
For grass, mud, or blood stains, pre-treat with a dab of liquid laundry detergent or a technical-fabric stain remover before washing. Avoid chlorine bleach — it breaks down recycled polyester fibers and the elastane in the waistband.
Reflective Detailing
The reflective logo and bar are heat-transferred onto the hem. Avoid ironing directly on the reflective areas — high heat can melt or delaminate the transfer. If ironing is needed, use a pressing cloth between the iron and the reflective zones.
Storage
Store flat or folded in a drawer. Avoid hanging by the waistband long-term — the recycled elastane in the waistband mesh can stretch out over time, especially with the weight of wet or sweaty fabric.
Travel Tip
Lightweight and quick-drying — ideal for travel. Roll rather than fold to minimize creasing in the skirt portion, and the recycled ripstop body resists wrinkles in a duffel or backpack.
