LIGHTRANGE™ Sun-Ready Finish
LIGHTRANGE™ is a fabric-level finish that combines three benefits in one treatment — UPF sun protection, anti-odor technology, and moisture management for runs, hikes, and any long-distance activity under the sun.
FLASHDRY™ Moisture Management
FLASHDRY™ materials offer enhanced moisture management to help keep you comfortable — pulls sweat off the skin and accelerates evaporation during high-output activities so you stay dry through the longest runs.
Anti-Odor Technology
Anti-odor technology helps keep the fabric feeling fresh — works on both the outer shell and the internal liner short, allowing for multi-day wear during ultras, backpacking trips, and travel.

Knit-mesh waistband with an internal infinity-loop drawcord for adjustability — breathable construction prevents the dreaded sweat-soaked elastic waistband, and the hidden drawcord lets you dial in the fit without external bulk.
Secure-Zip Center Back Pocket
Secure-zip pocket on the center back of the waistband — holds a phone, key, card, or energy gel securely during high-output activity without bouncing or falling out.
Split Hem at Side Seams
Split hem at the side seams for increased mobility — opens up the leg opening for a full stride during running and prevents the shorts from riding up during high knees, squats, or steep descents.
Internal Liner Short
Internal liner short with FLASHDRY™ and anti-odor technology — provides next-to-skin comfort, reduces chafing between the thighs, and adds light compression without needing separate compression shorts.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Use a mild technical detergent — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh stain removers, which can degrade the LIGHTRANGE™ UPF/anti-odor finish and the FLASHDRY™ moisture-wicking performance. Turn inside out to protect the reflective details and the secure-zip pocket from abrasion.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The lightweight 120 g fabric dries quickly on the line — air drying extends the life of the LIGHTRANGE™ finish and preserves the mechanical stretch in the back body panel. Avoid high heat which can warp the waistband mesh and degrade the DWR finish.
Avoid
Skip fabric softeners — they coat the FLASHDRY™ fibers and reduce moisture-wicking performance. Don't iron directly over the reflective heat transfer logo or bar. Avoid contact with Velcro which can snag the lightweight woven ripstop front body fabric.
Anti-Odor Care
The anti-odor treatment in both the outer fabric and the liner short is permanent for the life of the garment but works best when the shorts are aired out between wears. Hang dry immediately after activity to allow the moisture-wicking fibers to fully release sweat.
UPF Refresh
The UPF protection is built into the LIGHTRANGE™ finish at the fiber level and doesn't wash out — it remains effective for the life of the shorts as long as the fabric isn't significantly stretched or worn thin.
Storage
Store folded in a drawer or hung on a clip hanger. The lightweight fabric doesn't benefit from compression. Keep clean before storing to prevent body oils and sweat from setting into the liner short fabric over time, which can degrade the anti-odor treatment.
