LIGHTRANGE™ is a fabric-level finish that combines three benefits in one — UPF sun protection for covered areas, anti-odor technology that keeps the fabric feeling fresh, and moisture management that pulls sweat away from the skin. One finish delivers the protection, hygiene, and comfort you need for long outdoor days, without the multiple-finish tradeoffs that often degrade one benefit for another.
FLASHDRY™ Moisture Management
FLASHDRY™ fabric treatment accelerates moisture wicking to keep you comfortable during high-output movement — pulls sweat off the skin and spreads it across the fabric face for fast evaporation, so the shirt doesn't stay soaked through humid commutes, hot trail runs, or unexpected weather shifts.
Anti-Odor Technology
Anti-odor technology built into the LIGHTRANGE™ finish helps keep the fabric feeling fresh through long wear days and multi-day trips — important for a layer that doubles as training wear and casual wear, since the same shirt can carry you through a morning run, an afternoon coffee shop stop, and an evening out without picking up the day's accumulated odor.
Raglan Sleeves for Mobility
Raglan sleeve construction increases the range of motion through the shoulder — extends the natural reach of the arm so overhead reaches, climbing moves, and high-stride running don't fight the shoulder seam. The seam sits along the underarm-to-collar line instead of running over the shoulder point, eliminating pressure points under pack straps.
Underarm Gussets
Underarm gussets add extra fabric and range of motion where the arm meets the torso — eliminates the binding that standard seam construction can create when reaching overhead or extending the arms forward, important for climbing, scrambling, and any activity that needs full arm extension.
Split Hem at Side Seams
Split hem at the side seams gives the shirt extra mobility through the hips — eliminates the ride-up that standard straight hems can cause during high-arm movement, and layers cleanly over a sports bra or tank without bunching under outerwear.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors — wash the shirt inside out to protect the reflective heat-transfer logos and the reflective bar on the lower back from abrasion during the wash cycle. Use a mild, technical-fabric detergent only. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and optical brighteners, which can degrade the FLASHDRY™ moisture-wicking treatment, break down the LIGHTRANGE™ anti-odor finish, and reduce the lightweight breathability over time.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry — the lightweight 108 g/m² polyester dries quickly on its own, so high heat is unnecessary and can degrade the LIGHTRANGE™ finish, melt the reflective heat-transfer logos, and cause shrinkage. Remove from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles.
LIGHTRANGE™ Maintenance
The LIGHTRANGE™ finish combines UPF + anti-odor + moisture management into a single fabric-level treatment that lasts for the life of the shirt under normal use and wash cycles. To preserve the UPF component, avoid stretching the fabric aggressively when wet, which can compromise the weave density and reduce UV protection. Replace the shirt when the fabric becomes significantly worn or thin.
Anti-Odor Refresh
The anti-odor technology is built into the LIGHTRANGE™ finish and reactivates with normal washing. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets, which coat the fabric fibers with a residue that reduces the anti-odor finish's effectiveness over time. If the shirt develops persistent odor despite washing, retire it from active use and use it for casual wear only.
Reflective Care
Periodically check the reflective heat-transfer logos on the left chest, back-right shoulder, and the reflective bar on the lower back — if any start peeling or losing reflectivity, the shirt should be retired from low-light active use even if the body fabric is still functional for casual wear.
No Ironing
Do not iron — the heat can melt the reflective heat-transfer logos and degrade the LIGHTRANGE™ and FLASHDRY™ treatments on the fabric. If the shirt needs freshening between washes, hang it in a steamy bathroom or use a garment steamer held at a safe distance.
Circular Design Return
As a Circular Design style, this shirt is designed to be returned to TNF for end-of-life recycling when it's worn out — keep it out of the regular textile waste stream by following TNF's circularity program return process (typically drop-off at a participating retailer or mail-back). The single-fiber polyester body construction makes it easier to disassemble and recycle into raw materials for the next generation of products.
Storage
Store the shirt folded or hung in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — UV exposure degrades the LIGHTRANGE™ UPF protection over time, fades the reflective hits, and weakens the recycled polyester fibers.
