FLASHDRY™ materials offer enhanced moisture management to help keep you comfortable — pulls sweat off the skin and accelerates evaporation during high-output trail sections, hot weather, and humid conditions.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish for added water repellency — causes light rain, wet brush, and puddle splashes to bead up and roll off the surface without the use of harmful perfluorinated chemicals.
Recycled Nylon Stretch Fabric
Body fabric made with 94% recycled nylon and 6% elastane for two-way stretch — durable, abrasion-resistant, and moves with the body during high-stepping, scrambling, and extended trail miles.
Belt-Loop Waistband

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Close all zippers before washing to protect the secure-zip thigh and back pockets and the front fly zipper teeth. Use a mild technical or recycled-fabric-friendly detergent — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh stain removers, which can degrade the FLASHDRY™ finish, the non-PFC DWR treatment, and the elastane stretch fibers.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang dry. The 142 g/m² recycled nylon/elastane fabric dries quickly on the line — air drying extends the life of the elastane stretch recovery and preserves the non-PFC DWR finish. Avoid high heat which can warp the pocket mesh and degrade the DWR treatment.
Trail Stain Treatment
Pre-treat mud, dirt, and grass stains before washing — rinse off loose debris with a hose or faucet, then apply a dab of mild soap and water to the stain and let sit for 5-10 minutes before washing. For tougher stains (pine sap, berry, blood), use a technical stain treatment before laundering.
DWR Refresh
Re-apply a DWR treatment (spray-on PFC-free re-proofer) when water stops beading on the surface — the factory DWR wears off with use and frequent washing, especially on high-rub zones like the seat and thighs. Re-proofing keeps the pants water-repellent for unexpected light rain on trail.
Mesh Pocket Care
The mesh-lined pockets can snag on Velcro, rough bark, and carabiners — keep sharp objects in dedicated sleeves or zip pockets, and avoid snagging the mesh on gear. Periodically check pocket integrity after heavy use on brushy trails.
Storage
Store folded in a drawer or hung on clip hangers by the waistband. Avoid hanging by the belt loops long-term, which can stretch them out. Keep clean before storing to prevent body oils and sweat from setting into the recycled nylon fabric.
