Men's Summit Series Off Width Jacket
Men's Summit Series Off Width Jacket
Climbing Wind Shell · Men's · WINDWALL™ · Slim Fit

Advanced mobility. Distraction free climbing. This is the Men's Summit Series Off Width Jacket. Born on the wall, this highly wind-resistant layer is engineered with lightweight, stretch-woven fabric and an articulated construction for full range of motion. The slim, close-to-body fit is designed for comfort while wearing a harness. When not in use, the jacket can be stowed and clipped to a carabiner.

Slim, Harness-Friendly Fit
Slim, close-to-body cut layers cleanly under a harness without excess fabric to bunch, snag, or flap on the wall — a fit dialed in for climbing first and layering second.
WINDWALL™ Wind Resistance
Wind-resistant WINDWALL™ fabric blocks wind from penetrating the shell, greatly reducing wind chill on belays, ridgelines, and cold crag approaches.
Strategic Stretch Panels
Lightweight stretch-woven fabric in the back panel and underarm gussets adds range of motion exactly where reach matters most — high steps, mantles, and long reaches.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish beads light precipitation and snow off the shell, keeping the jacket from saturating when the weather rolls in mid-route.
Recycled Nylon Body
Main-body fabric made with 89% recycled nylon; center-back and underarm fabric made with 85% recycled nylon — high-performance construction that cuts down on virgin material.
Climbing-Helmet-Compatible Hood
Pre-tensioned, adjustable hood with a bonded brim and cinch-cord adjustment in back is engineered to fit over a climbing helmet without billowing or blocking peripheral vision.
Stows in Hood Pouch
Packs into its own internal hood pouch when the sun hits, with a webbing loop for carabiner attachment so it can ride on a harness or pack until the next weather window.
Articulated Sleeves
Sleeves feature darted articulation paired with underarm gussets for unrestricted reach on long moves — no hem ride-up, no shoulder binding when you're extended overhead.
Water-Resistant Zippers
Water-resistant VISLON® center front zip with an internal kissing welt keeps wind and precip out of the chest, while exposed reverse-coil hand-pocket zippers stay snag-free against a harness or pack.
Breathable Hand Pockets
Interior of the hand pockets features laser-cut perforations for air permeability — a low-profile way to dump heat on the approach without opening the main front of the jacket.
Bonded Construction
Critical seams are flat bonded for next-to-skin comfort; a low-profile hem with pre-tensioned encased elastic at the sides keeps the jacket in place; narrow cuff openings use Bemis-ladder bonding and FLASHDRY™ elastic for a clean seal over gloves.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a technical garment wash. Zip the center front and pocket zippers fully before washing, and use a mesh laundry bag to protect the bonded seams from abrasion.
Drying
Tumble dry low to reactivate the non-PFC DWR finish on the WINDWALL™ shell. Heat from the dryer is what bonds the DWR to the fabric — air drying alone won't fully restore water repellency over time.
Detergent
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and standard laundry detergents with optical brighteners — they clog the WINDWASH face fabric and degrade the elastane stretch. A dedicated technical wash keeps both performing as designed.
DWR Refresh
When water stops beading on the shell, refresh the DWR with a spray-on or wash-in treatment designed for WINDWALL™ fabrics. Test a small area first to confirm the finish reactivates evenly.
Storage
Store loosely hung or folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged compression in a stuff sack, which can crush the stretch-woven back panel and reduce its range of motion over the life of the jacket.
