Men's Short-Sleeve Baytrail Pattern Shirt
Men's Short-Sleeve Baytrail Pattern Shirt
Short-Sleeve Shirt · Everyday / Travel / Trail-to-Town

Casual days call for comfortable cotton. Made from 100% Climate Conscious Cotton and designed to be recycled once the shirt has been worn as far as it can go, the Men's Short-Sleeve Baytrail Pattern Shirt is available in a variety of patterns that are sure to make a statement on or off the trails. Lightweight, breathable, and built for the trail-to-town transition: pair it with shorts on a warm hike, throw it over a tee on a cool evening, or wear it untucked over jeans on a weekend morning.

Regular Fit
Regular fit through the body with a clean, untucked-friendly silhouette — cut with enough room to move through a long trail day without clinging, but not so loose that it billows on a windy ridge. The regular cut works untucked over jeans on a casual day and tucked into shorts on a hike. Sized for the trail-to-town transition rather than a single specialty.
Circular Design
Thoughtfully designed to be disassembled and recycled back into raw materials for a second generation of products at the end of the garment's life. The construction uses single-material panels and easily separated components that can be re-spun without the typical blended-fabric complications. A shirt that closes its own loop, instead of becoming tomorrow's textile waste.
100% Climate Conscious Cotton
Body fabric made with 100% Climate Conscious Cotton from farmers using agricultural practices that help build soil carbon. Cotton grown in a way that pulls carbon out of the atmosphere and stores it in the soil — the shirt is part of the carbon cycle, not just a consumer of it. Soft hand, lightweight feel, and a much smaller footprint than conventional cotton.
Center Front Button Closure
Center front button closure with a full button placket — the classic casual-shirt opening that vents heat when the top button is undone, fully closes when the day turns cool, and works equally well tucked or untucked. The buttons are sewn on a reinforced placket, so the front holds its shape through years of wash cycles without puckering or warping.
Drop-In Chest Pocket
Drop-in chest pocket — a single patch pocket on the wearer's left chest sized for a phone, a small notebook, a pen, or a pair of sunglasses. The pocket lies flat against the body when empty, and the depth keeps small essentials from sliding out when the shirt is worn untucked. A simple, useful detail that's more versatile than it looks.
Center Back Box Pleat
Center back box pleat adds a hidden layer of range of motion through the shoulders — the pleat opens up when the arms reach forward (reaching for a hold, casting a fly rod, hoisting a pack), then falls flat when the arms drop. The pleat is a small construction detail that turns a fitted shirt into one that moves with the body rather than fighting it.
Logo Flag Label on Side Seam
Logo flag label on the left side seam — a small, visible brand mark that catches the eye on the hip without being a chest graphic. The flag label is sewn into the side seam rather than printed on the body, so it doesn't fade with wash cycles and doesn't add any stiffness to the wear against the body. Subtle, intentional branding.

End-of-Life
Designed for disassembly and recycling into raw materials
Machine Wash
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Button the shirt fully before washing to keep the buttonholes from stretching and to prevent the shirt from wrapping around itself. Wash with similar fabrics to avoid pilling from rougher materials like denim or canvas. Cold water preserves the cotton fibers, prevents shrinking, and uses less energy than a warm cycle.
Tumble Dry Low
Tumble dry on low heat, or hang dry. Remove from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles — cotton wrinkles less when the shirt is hung or folded as soon as the cycle ends. High heat will shrink the cotton and weaken the seams. Low heat or line drying extends the life of the shirt significantly.
Iron
Iron on medium-high heat if needed. The 100% cotton fabric presses cleanly with a hot iron and a bit of steam. Iron on the reverse side to protect the side-seam flag label and any pattern details. A press cloth can be used for extra protection on darker patterns where the iron could leave a slight sheen.
Do Not Bleach
Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softener. Bleach breaks down cotton fibers and fades the pattern. Fabric softener coats the cotton fibers with a film that reduces breathability and absorbs moisture less effectively. A mild detergent and a proper wash cycle handle odor and stains without either chemical.
Storage
Fold and store in a cool, dry place. Hang on a wooden or padded hanger if hanging, to maintain the shoulder shape and keep the box pleat hanging cleanly. A standard wire hanger can distort the shoulders over time. Button the top button before hanging to keep the collar shape intact.
Recycling at End of Life
When the shirt reaches the end of its wearable life, return it through the brand's take-back program to be disassembled and recycled back into raw materials for a second generation of products. The Circular Design construction is what makes that possible — 100% single-fiber cotton panels and easily separated components that can be re-spun without the typical blended-fabric complications. The 100% cotton build is what makes the recycling clean and efficient.
