Men's HKE Devils Thumb GORE-TEX® Jacket
Men's HKE Devils Thumb GORE-TEX® Jacket
GORE-TEX 2L Waterproof · Spectra® Ripstop Reinforcement · Pit-Zip Venting · Stowable Hood · Pack-Compatible · 100% Recycled Body

For a shell that can handle the elements, reach for the Men's HKE Devils Thumb GORE-TEX® Jacket. The main body is built from durable, waterproof, 100% recycled GORE-TEX® fabric for serious on-trail protection against tough conditions. With a relaxed fit for easy layering, pit-zip venting to manage heat output, and a convenient stowable hood, it's built to inspire confidence when the weather turns and the backcountry calls.

Relaxed Fit
A relaxed fit leaves room for insulating layers underneath — perfect for layering a fleece or puffy under the shell on cold, wet alpine days without restricting movement.
Durably Waterproof GORE-TEX 2L
Durably waterproof GORE-TEX 2L construction delivers proven rain and snow protection — fully taped seams and a guaranteed-watertight membrane keep you dry through multi-hour downpours and wet snow.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
A non-PFC durable water-repellent finish on both the shell and the Spectra® ripstop reinforcements causes water to bead up and roll off — keeps the outer fabric from saturating and adds extra protection to the membrane.
100% Recycled Body Fabric & Lining
Main body and lining are built from 100% recycled polyester; yoke, shoulder, and lower-back panels use 91% recycled polyester — heavy-duty performance with a lighter footprint on the planet.
Spectra® Ripstop Reinforcement
Spectra® ripstop — a high-tenacity polyethylene fiber — reinforces key abrasion zones at the yoke, shoulders, and lower back — the areas that take the brunt of pack-strap contact, scrambling, and rock encounters.
Brushed-Tricot Neck Facing
A brushed-tricot neck facing feels soft against bare skin — no scratchy shell fabric chafing your chin or neck when you zip all the way up in a freezing rainstorm.
Stowable Adjustable Hood
An elastic-bound hood with a rear cinch-cord and cord lock stows neatly in the collar when you don't need it — deploys in seconds for instant rain and wind protection on exposed ridges.
Two-Way YKK® AquaGuard® Center Zip
A two-way, reverse-coil YKK® AquaGuard® center front zip lets you vent from the bottom without unzipping the whole jacket — perfect for harness access, sitting on a pack, or cooling down without removing the shell.
Pit-Zip Venting
Pit-zip vents under the arms dump heat fast during high-output climbs and steep ascents — the single biggest venting upgrade you can have on a waterproof shell when the trail turns uphill.
Pack-Compatible Pockets
Secure-zip chest and hand pockets sit high and out of the way of a pack hip-belt or harness — chest pocket is perfect for a phone, snacks, and a map without pressure on the lower back.
Cinch-Cord Hem
A cinch-cord at the hem with a cord lock on each side seals out drafts and locks warmth in — tighten from inside the hand pockets for an easy adjustment on the move.
Adjustable Hook-and-Loop Cuffs
Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop tabs let you seal out rain and wind at the wrists — cinch tight to keep water from running down the sleeves, or loosen for ventilation on the climbs.
Heat Transfer Logo Detailing
Heat transfer logos on the left sleeve and back-right shoulder deliver clean, signature TNF branding without bulky embroidered patches — no scratchy patches under pack straps or against bare skin.

What's Included
In Box
1 × Men's HKE Devils Thumb GORE-TEX® Jacket

Machine wash warm (around 40°C / 105°F) on a gentle cycle with a technical wash like Nikwax Tech Wash or Granger's Performance Wash — close all zippers and secure hook-and-loop cuffs before tossing it in.

Avoid regular detergent, bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets — all of these can coat the GORE-TEX membrane, degrade the DWR finish, and reduce waterproof breathability.

Tumble dry on medium heat for 20–30 minutes — the gentle heat reactivates the non-PFC DWR finish on the shell, restoring water-shedding performance. Do not over-dry.

Do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not use solvents — heat and chemicals will damage the GORE-TEX membrane, the taped seams, and the Spectra® reinforcement.

Re-apply a non-PFC DWR spray-on treatment (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) periodically, or whenever water stops beading on the surface — refreshes the water-shedding performance without compromising the GORE-TEX membrane's breathability.

Hang to dry fully between uses and store dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid leaving the jacket crumpled in a damp stuff sack, which can degrade the DWR finish over time.
