Cobra 65 Backpack
Cobra 65 Backpack
Climbing Pack · Spectra® Ripstop · Summit Series™

Featuring a partially translucent fabric to help you instantly identify contents, and Spectra® ripstop (a fabric stronger than steel by weight), the 65-liter Cobra pack has the durability, comfort and organization to help you reach places you weren't sure you could. Designed for the most demanding ascent or summit approach, it has all the crucial features and support required to carry your gear without weighing you down.

Spectra® Ripstop Reinforcement
Spectra® ripstop (UHMWPE — ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) — a fabric stronger than steel by weight. Adds exceptional tear and abrasion resistance to high-stress zones without bulk or weight penalty
Partially Translucent Fabric
Unique partially translucent fabric panels let you instantly identify contents without opening the pack — save time at bivouac checkpoints and gear audits on multi-day alpine objectives
65-Liter Summit Capacity
65L main compartment sized for multi-day alpine objectives, summit attempts, and technical climbs — fits rack, rope, sleeping system, layers, and expedition essentials
Demanding-Ascent Design
Engineered for the most demanding ascent or summit approach — durability, comfort, and organization to carry your gear to places you weren't sure you could
Lightweight Build
Despite the 65L capacity, the Cobra is built to carry gear without weighing you down — Spectra® reinforcement adds durability without the bulk of traditional pack fabrics
Organized Storage
Designed with all the crucial organization needed for multi-day alpine trips — internal pockets for layers, external lash points for rope, ice tools, and sleeping pads
Reflective Detailing
Light-reflective accents improve visibility in low-light conditions — important for early alpine starts, late summit returns, and emergency situations
Recycled Content
Built with recycled materials to reduce landfill waste and the use of virgin materials

Cleaning
Wipe clean with a damp cloth for everyday dirt. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not machine wash — the agitation damages the Spectra® ripstop reinforcement, the translucent panels, frame stays, and harness hardware.
Drying
Air dry completely at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not put in a dryer. Do not iron — heat damages the Spectra® fibers and the translucent panel material.
Translucent Panel Care
The unique partially translucent fabric can be cleaned with a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives that can scratch or cloud the translucent finish.
Spectra® Reinforcement
Spectra® fibers are extremely durable but UV-sensitive over long-term storage. Limit direct sun exposure when the pack is empty — keeps the Spectra® at peak strength.
Zippers
Periodically lubricate zippers with a silicone-based lubricant. The Cobra is used in alpine environments — debris, ice, and grit in zipper tracks is common. Clean tracks with a soft brush before lubricating.
Frame & Hardware
Periodically check frame stays for cracks and buckles/hardware for wear. The Cobra is used for demanding ascents — hardware failure under load is dangerous.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Loosen all compression straps before long-term storage. Avoid hanging by the haul handle for extended periods — stresses the top panel.
