Washing
Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm or cool water. Wash with like colors — the 77% Wool-Merino blend benefits from isolated washing to protect the fabric's natural moisture-management and odor-resistant properties and the premium sweater-feel loft. Use a mild, technical wash; avoid fabric softeners (they coat the Merino fibers and reduce natural moisture management, and they can degrade the elastane's shape recovery).
Drying
Tumble dry low. The premium Merino knit and the high wool content tolerate low-heat tumble drying without distorting the sock's slim fit or shrinking the wool fibers. Low heat restores the loft of the Merino knit (critical for the sweater-feel hand) and the recovery of the elastane. Do not tumble dry on medium or high heat; high heat can shrink the Merino fibers and felt the premium knit, which would ruin the slim fit and the sweater-feel softness.
Bleach, Iron & Dry Cleaning
Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Bleach breaks down Merino wool fibers and degrades the elastane in the slim-fit construction. Ironing is unnecessary for a knit sock and high heat can scorch the Merino and damage the premium knit. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the high wool content's hand-feel and odor-resistance performance.
Storage
