The high Merino content (76% — higher than a performance running sock, higher than a hike sock) gives the sock its signature premium sweater feel — softer, loftier, and warmer than the average Merino wool sock. Nylon adds the durability for everyday wear; 1% elastane gives the knit the stretch recovery a crew sock needs to stay up without binding at the cuff.

Washing
Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm or cool water. The Merino + nylon + elastane blend benefits from gentle agitation to protect the sweater-knit feel and the elastane recovery at the cuff. Warm or cool water is fine — hot water can felt the Merino fibers and shrink the knit. Use a mild, technical wash; avoid fabric softeners, which coat the Merino fibers and reduce their natural odor resistance.
Drying
Tumble dry low. The cozy Merino blend benefits from low tumble heat to re-loft the sweater-knit feel after washing. High heat can shrink the Merino fibers and damage the elastane at the cuff — keep the setting low and remove promptly to minimize wrinkling.
Bleach & Iron
Do not bleach. Do not iron. Bleach breaks down Merino wool fibers and degrades the nylon and elastane in the blend. Iron heat can scorch the Merino and flatten the cozy sweater-knit feel that defines the sock.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the nylon and elastane in the blend — both of which are core to the fabric’s sweater-feel softness and stretch recovery.
Storage
Store folded in a dry, breathable space. Merino’s natural odor resistance lets the sock cover multiple wear days between washes — folded storage preserves the sweater-knit feel and the knit’s loft. Avoid hanging for long periods, which can stretch the elastane out of the cuff and the narrower women’s-specific heel shape.
