The S-Works Turbo sets the standard for a fast and durable tube-type race tire. GRIPTON T2 in the center is the fastest, most efficient compound Specialized has ever developed, paired with GRIPTON T5 on the shoulders for incredible grip through the corners. BlackBelt puncture protection delivers 8% more protection than before using a new hybrid Kevlar breaker — lighter, stronger, and more supple. The result is a tire that's 4 watts faster per set than the previous S-Works Turbo, and just 200 grams for a 24mm. This is S-Works level speed with a tube.

T2 — Fastest Compound Specialized Has Ever Made
GRIPTON T2 is the result of tuning the mechanical stretch and relaxation of polymer chains — an entirely new rubber compound engineered for maximum efficiency. In the center tread, T2 minimizes rolling resistance so more of your power goes into speed. Paired with GRIPTON T5 on the shoulders, you get legendary grip where you need it without sacrificing the speed advantage in the center. The result is 4 watts faster per set than the previous S-Works Turbo — meaningful in race scenarios, noticeable on training rides.
BlackBelt — Puncture Protection That Doesn't Quit
BlackBelt uses a new hybrid Kevlar breaker under the tread — stronger and lighter than previous iterations, delivering 8% more puncture protection. The updated construction is also more flexible, which means a more supple ride that conforms to road imperfections rather than bouncing off them. Combined with the light and supple 120 TPI casing, you get improved puncture protection without the weight penalty or harsh ride of more burly protections.
Tube Type — The Race-First Choice
The tube-type S-Works Turbo prioritizes minimum weight and maximum speed over tubeless convenience. At 200g (24mm), 220g (26mm), 240g (28mm), and 260g (30mm), these are among the lightest race tires available. The foldable bead keeps weight low, and the 120 TPI casing conforms to the road for a smooth ride feel. Some riders report the T2/T5 compound can be slippery in wet conditions — worth considering if you ride in frequently wet climates.
