Roval Rapide Cockpit
Roval Rapide Cockpit
Integrated Carbon Bar + Stem · Road Race · 307g · -10° · Aero Optimized

The Rapide Cockpit is the fastest leading edge Roval has ever made — an aerodynamic one-piece design that removes the hardware cluster between stem and bar to create a single airfoil optimized for clean air at World Tour speeds. 4 watts saved vs. a traditional aero road bar. 50 grams lighter than the previous two-piece Rapide + Tarmac SL7 Stem combination. No compromises.

  • 4 Watts Saved: Optimized airfoil for clean air at race speeds — saves 4W vs. traditional aero road bar.
  • 50g Lighter: 307g (400×100mm) vs. previous two-piece Rapide bar + SL7 stem.
  • 15 Stem/Bar Combos: 75mm–125mm stems paired with 380mm–440mm widths — find your fit.
  • -10° Stem Angle: All combos at -10° for consistent race position.
  • 127mm Drop / 75mm Reach: World Tour-proven bend geometry with 4° flare.
  • Ti Bolts + Premium Carbon: Titanium steer tube bolts, high-modulus carbon construction.

The Rapide Cockpit is not clip-on compatible — it's a pure race cockpit for the fastest possible setup. Computer mount (S219900058) included. Requires 40mm of steerer tube above the last headset spacer.

4 Watts — How Much Is That?
4 watts saved in clean air at race speeds adds up to a 32cm lead over a 250m final sprint. When races are won by bike throws, this is a winning difference. It's not just about the watts — it's about where you get them: in clean air, ahead of the peloton, where it matters most.
One-Piece Aero Advantage
By removing the stem hardware cluster (where bar meets stem), Roval engineered the leading edge as a single airfoil. Traditional two-piece cockpits have a mechanical junction that disrupts airflow and creates drag. The Rapide's integrated design eliminates this penalty — the air sees one smooth surface instead of two joined parts.
15 Combos — Retül-Fitted for Everyone
The biggest limitation of one-piece cockpits has been fit — limited options meant some riders couldn't get their position right. Roval solved this by offering 15 different stem/bar combinations (75mm–125mm stems × 380mm–440mm widths), all at -10°. Partnering with Retül fit professionals and World Tour riders, nearly every rider can find their fit. Widths: 380 / 400 / 420 / 440mm (hoods). Drop widths: 390 / 410 / 430 / 450mm.
