Romin EVO Pro with Mirror
Romin EVO Pro with Mirror
Performance Road / Gravel · Body Geometry · Mirror Technology · Hollow Ti Rails

The Romin EVO Pro with Mirror uses the exact same 3D-printed Mirror pad as the S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror — 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes tuned for maximum sit-bone support. The difference is in the shell and rails: nylon with reclaimed carbon fiber and hollow titanium rails instead of full carbon. The result is 26% less sit-bone pressure than foam at 239g (143mm) for $349.99 — the Mirror experience at a more accessible price point.

  • Mirror Technology: 22,200 struts / 10,700 nodes — same lattice as S-Works Romin EVO, tuned identically.
  • 26% Less Sit Bone Pressure: Same concave shell + Mirror combination as the S-Works — proven with high-resolution pressure mapping.
  • Reclaimed Carbon + Nylon Shell: 15% reclaimed carbon fiber — sustainability meets performance.
  • Hollow Titanium Rails: Durable, corrosion-resistant, compatible with any standard seat post clamp.
  • SWAT Compatible: Integrated storage mounts for SWAT Box / SWAT Tool Wrap.
  • 2 Widths: 143mm and 155mm — no 130mm option at this tier.

The Romin EVO shape has been a favorite of Specialized's professional athletes for seasons — designed for aggressive race positioning while protecting soft tissue and blood flow. The hollow Ti rails and nylon shell are more compliant than carbon, which means more comfort on long rides — and no rail compatibility headaches.

Same Mirror as S-Works — That's the Point
The key differentiator of the Romin EVO Pro vs. the S-Works Romin EVO is the shell and rails — the Mirror lattice is identical. 22,200 struts, 10,700 nodes, same concave shape, same 26% pressure reduction. You're paying $125 less for a nylon shell and hollow Ti rails instead of full carbon. The Ti rails are heavier (minimal: ~49g difference) but more durable and compatible with any standard seat post. If you want the Mirror experience without the carbon rail premium, this is it.
Romin vs. Power EVO — Different Shapes
The Romin EVO Pro has the same Mirror specs as the S-Works Romin EVO (22,200 struts) but shares the same tier as the Power EVO Pro. The Power EVO has 47,000 struts — more Mirror, more pressure reduction. The Romin EVO has a race-oriented shape optimized for an aggressive, low position. Choose based on your riding position: Power EVO for upright/road, Romin EVO for aero/aggressive.
Hollow Ti Rails — No Compatibility Worries
Unlike the S-Works carbon rail saddles, the hollow titanium rails on the Pro are round and compatible with standard seat post clamps. No need to check if your seat post supports oversized 7x9mm carbon rails — these fit any standard round rail clamp. Also more durable: Ti doesn't have the 3-year replacement guidance that carbon rails carry.
