For Dissident 2, we collaborated with powerhouse athletes Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles to design a helmet that would meet the highest demands of downhill mountain bike racing—confidence, modern-styled fit, and breathability. World Cup proven. Five strategically placed EPS foam inserts are tuned for higher and lower density based on location—maintaining a light weight while managing energy effectively.

3-Layer Construction: Carbon shell / Polycarbonate / EPS for maximum protection without excess weight.
5 EPS Foam Inserts: Tuned density in each specific location—lighter where you don't need bulk, denser where impacts hit hardest.
MIPS Evolve Solution: Helps redirect rotational movement away from the head, with fabric pocket attachments to reduce creakiness.

3-Layer Construction

Carbon shell outer layer bonded to polycarbonate mid-layer with EPS foam interior. Maximum protection where you need it, minimal weight everywhere else. Race-proven construction.

5 Tuned EPS Foam Inserts

Five unique pieces of EPS tuned to optimized performance in each specific location. Softer foam density allows more energy to be absorbed in an impact, transferring less to the rider—lighter weight without sacrificing protection.

MIPS Evolve Solution

Helps redirect rotational movement away from the head during angled impacts. Fabric pocket attachments inside the helmet reduce bobble head and creakiness for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

Inside-Out Ventilation

Built from the inside out. Hood scoop channels a flow of cool air in, purpose-placed vents direct warm air out—letting your head stay cool and composed in any situation, from World Cup runs to enduro laps.

Ionic Plus Anti-Microbial Padding

Ionic Plus Fabric anti-microbial pad kit keeps things fresh between rides. Includes replacement crown pad and two sizes of emergency quick-release cheek pads for added safety.
