Men's Yumiori Vest
Men's Yumiori Vest
Vest · Lifestyle

With a soft, high-pile fleece fabric, you can stay covered and comfortable in the Men's Yumiori Vest. Built using mechanical-stretch binding for durability and an adjustable hem for the ideal fit, this Circular Design fleece is made to live on and on. The lofty, almost-shearling texture holds warmth without weight, the sleeveless cut gives the arms full range for layering or the everyday reach, and the high-pile fabric has the kind of broken-in feel from the first wear that other fleeces take years to develop.

High-Pile Fleece Fabric
Soft, high-pile fleece with a shaggy, almost-shearling hand-feel — the loft of the pile traps a layer of warm air against the body for insulation without the weight of a heavier midlayer. The texture is what makes the Yumiori look and feel like a favorite from the moment you put it on.
Mechanical-Stretch Binding
Mechanical-stretch binding at the seams, hem, and armholes — gives the binding a small amount of give without the bulk or weight of elastane, holds the edges clean and flat through years of wear, and resists the delamination that plagues some stretch bindings in technical fleece.
Adjustable Hem
Adjustable hem cinches the vest tight at the waist — seals out cold drafts from below when the temperature drops, and opens up for a looser, more relaxed fit when the sun comes out. Two-position drawcord, easy to operate one-handed.
Sleeveless Layering Cut
Sleeveless cut gives the arms full range of motion for layering over a baselayer, under a shell, or wearing solo as the main piece on a cool day. Doesn't restrict the reach for a high step, a backhand, or the steering wheel on a long drive.
Center Front Zip
Full-length center front zip for easy on-and-off and instant venting — zip it all the way up to seal in core warmth, or open from the bottom to release heat while keeping the shoulders covered. The zip is easy to operate one-handed with cold fingers.
Stand-Up Collar
Stand-up collar with a soft chin guard — zips all the way up to seal in warmth and protect the neck from wind without the bulk of a hood. Clean, classic profile that layers under a shell or stands on its own.
Hand Pockets
Open hand pockets at the waist — sized for a phone, a wallet, the keys to the car, or warming up the hands on a cold morning. Deep enough to keep contents from falling out when you sit down or kneel.
Circular Design Construction
Engineered as part of the Circular Design initiative — thoughtfully designed to be disassembled and recycled back into raw materials for a second generation of products. Built to last, then built to start over.
Recycled Materials
Body fabric incorporates recycled materials — keeps plastic out of the landfill without sacrificing the lofty hand-feel, the warmth, or the durability the Yumiori is known for. The recycled content holds up to weekly wear and the high-pile texture survives regular washing.

Machine Wash Cold
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild detergent — no bleach, no fabric softener. The softener can coat the high-pile fibers and reduce the loft of the fleece. Wash inside a mesh laundry bag to prevent the binding from snagging on other items in the load.
Tumble Dry Low
Tumble dry on low heat with two clean tennis balls or dryer balls — the balls help fluff up the high-pile fleece and restore the loft that gets compressed in the wash cycle. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Restore Pile
If the high-pile fibers get matted down from heavy use or compression in a pack, brush them out gently with a soft-bristle brush (a pet slicker brush works in a pinch) to restore the loft and the texture. Avoid pulling on the fibers with the brush — work with the natural lay of the pile.
Storage
Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid compressing for long-term storage — extended compression can flatten the high-pile fleece and reduce the loft of the insulating air pockets.
End-of-Life Recycling
Built with circular design principles — when the vest is worn out, send it back through the take-back program so the materials can be turned into raw inputs for the next generation of products. Don't toss it in the regular bin.
