The Men's Glacier Fleece Vest is a classic made with microfleece fabric that has a unique lofted structure — trapping warm air while maintaining air permeability. Lightweight and versatile, it's the ideal layering piece to wear under a waterproof shell or on its own around town. It's also part of the Circular Design initiative that helps reduce waste and give old gear new life.

Microfleece loft structure
Unique lofted microfleece traps warm air without sacrificing air permeability — keeps core warm during high-output activity without overheating.
Lightweight layering piece
8.5 oz total weight makes this vest a no-brainer add-on — packs small, layers easily under a shell, doesn't bulk the silhouette.
Mechanical-stretch binding
Reinforced stretch binding at the collar and hem adds durability at high-wear points and improves comfort over a baselayer or under a shell.
Reverse-coil center zip with cord puller
Center front uses a reverse-coil zip with a cord puller for quick, glove-friendly operation in cold conditions.
Concealed hand pockets
Reverse-coil concealed-zip hand pockets keep essentials secure and the front of the vest clean for a streamlined look.
Locker loop
External loop at the back neckline for easy hanging at the office, cabin, or climbing gym.
Circular Design
Thoughtfully constructed to be disassembled and recycled at the end of its life into raw materials for a second generation of products.
Recycled body fabric
100% recycled polyester microfleece for a lower-impact layering piece.

Cleaning
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Close all zippers before washing.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Low heat restores microfleece loft without damaging the mechanical-stretch binding.
What to avoid
Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or use fabric softener. Fabric softener coats the fleece fibers and reduces loft and air permeability.
Pilling prevention
Wash inside out with similar fabrics to reduce pilling from abrasion against rougher garments or packs.
End-of-life recycling
As a Circular Design product, this vest is built to be returned and recycled by The North Face at the end of its life. Check thenorthface.com for program details.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
