Thermal Merino Glove

Made with 100% Merino wool and an interlocked knit structure, this Thermal Merino Glove provides everything you need: enhanced comfort, breathability, thermoregulation, and odor resistance. And with a touchscreen compatible thumb and index finger, you can snap as many outdoor selfies as your heart desires.

100% Merino Wool Fabric
Single-jersey knit of 100% Merino wool delivers moisture management, body-temperature regulation, and natural odor resistance. Interlock construction keeps the next-to-skin layer soft against the hand.
Touchscreen-Compatible Thumb & Index Finger
Conductive yarn knit directly into the fingertips so you can answer calls, change playlists, and pull up trail maps without exposing your hands to the cold. No printed patch that wears off — the conductivity is in the knit itself.
Interlocked Knit Structure
The interlock knit construction adds stability and durability while keeping the fabric soft against the skin. Holds its shape wear after wear without bulk, so the glove layers clean under a shell on the coldest days.
Slim, Layer-Friendly Fit
Cut close to the hand with a stretch-knit cuff that disappears under a shell mitten or glove. Wears solo on shoulder-season days, layers clean under insulation when winter sets in.
Pull Tab For Easy On
A small reinforced tab at the cuff makes the glove easy to pull on one-handed or strip off in a hurry. Designed for cold mornings when fine motor skills are the first thing to go.
Flat-Knit Seam Construction
Cleanly designed seams reduce bulk at high-friction contact points so the gloves feel smooth against the skin and don't catch under a shell layer.
All-Day Odor Resistance
Merino's natural antimicrobial properties keep the gloves fresh across multi-day trips, long commutes, and back-to-back outdoor sessions without needing a wash.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Turn the gloves inside out before washing to protect the outer knit and release body soil from the inner fibers. Avoid fabric softener, which coats Merino fibers and reduces moisture-wicking performance.
Bleach & Iron
Do not bleach. Cool iron as needed; do not iron decorations. Bleach breaks down Merino wool fibers; high heat can scorch the knit and damage the conductive touchscreen yarn.
Drying
Dry flat. Do not tumble dry. Lay the gloves flat to maintain shape and protect the interlock knit structure; high heat from a dryer can shrink the wool and degrade the stretch recovery of the cuff.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino wool and degrade the conductive yarn knit into the thumb and index finger.
Storage
Store flat in a dry space. Merino's natural odor resistance means you can wear the gloves multiple days between washes — the perfect performance feature for backcountry trips and winter commuting.

Merino Layer System — SW018132

Built For

Early-Season Hiking
3 Season
Finger dexterity for zippers, trekking-pole straps, and water bottles without taking the glove off. The slim interlock knit keeps your hands warm enough for a 40°F start without overheating on the climb.
Shoulder-Season Trail Runs
40–55°F
Mid-pace output where a heavy glove gets clammy and bare hands cramp. Merino pulls sweat off the skin before it cools you down, and the slim cut doesn't interfere with wrist flexion on the arm swing.
Phone Use Without Skin Exposure
Year-Round
Conductive yarn knit into the thumb and index finger operates a touchscreen through the glove — no exposed fingertips, no printed patch that wears off. Answer calls, change music, check a route map in cold weather.
Grip Tasks In Cold Weather
Year-Round
Pull tab for one-handed on/off when your fingers are stiff. Stretch-knit cuff stays out of the way of a jacket sleeve. Merino manages sweat through long shifts of repetitive hand work.
Build The Stack

Pair It With A Shell Glove

The slim fit layers clean under a shell — no bunching, no lost dexterity. Pick the shell by what the weather is doing, not by what your hands need; the liner handles moisture and warmth either way.

  • Waterproof shell mitten wet + cold weather
  • Insulated ski glove deep cold + lift days
  • Windshell glove windy ridges + runs
  • Leather work glove cold + grip tasks
Complete The Kit

Layer Up The Body

One fiber system from skin out. Same Merino, same moisture management, same odor resistance on the hands as on the torso — no synthetic-on-skin transition where the wrist meets the sleeve.

  • Merino base layer crew cold-weather starts
  • Merino base layer bottom matched warmth
  • Smartloft vest core insulation
  • Merino beanie head + ear coverage

Prepared with intention.

Every product is carefully inspected and handled by our team before it ships. From fit and function to final details, we make sure each piece is ready for the outdoors ahead—so you can focus on the experience, not the gear.
