Chloro Women's Snowboard

Bringing a freestyle approach to riding the entire mountain, the Chloro's classic twin silhouette and soft flex work hand in hand to help step onto center stage and push progression in the park and beyond. The Combination Camber profile places camber strategically between the bindings for stability and pop, with rocker extending just outside toward the nose and tail for a hook-free feeling. The Rhythm-tuned Aspen core absorbs chatter with a flex profile explicitly scaled for women riders, while biaxially woven fiberglass delivers the edge hold needed on groomers, ice, and tricky approaches. The Extruded 2000 base stands up to daily park lapping while staying rigid and fast for daily use.

Catch-Free™ Tune
K2's beginner-specific shaping tune — blunted contact points and softer tip and tail for catch-free turns. The single biggest confidence booster for new riders learning to link turns and control speed, with the board forgiving typical beginner mistakes.
Combination Camber Profile
Camber strategically placed between the bindings for stability and pop; rocker extends just outside the bindings toward the nose and tail for a hook-free feeling. The combo delivers liveliness and snap while remaining playful and predictable across all snow types.
Aspen Core
A single-species Aspen wood core — sustainably harvested, lightweight, and engineered with a flex profile explicitly scaled for women riders. Absorbs chatter and provides a forgiving flex for soft-flex progression in the park and across the mountain.
Twin Shape
Classic twin silhouette — symmetrical outline and flex pattern that rides the same forward or switch. Perfect for freestyle riders who spin, press, and hit features from either direction with equal performance.
Extruded 2000 Base
K2's affordable extruded base formula — tough, durable, and easy to repair. Stands up to daily park lapping while staying rigid and fast. The stone finish speeds wax absorption, and P-Tex candles work for routine base repairs.
Biax Fiberglass
Biaxially woven fiberglass hugs the core and gives the board a fantastic edge hold on groomers, ice, and tricky approaches. A forgiving, manipulation-friendly layup that pairs well with the soft flex and Catch-Free tune.
Women's-Specific Beginner Design
Every design choice supports the beginner women rider: Catch-Free Tune for catch-free edges, soft flex for easy control, Extruded 2000 base for durability, and a twin silhouette that builds confidence riding regular and switch from day one.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The Extruded 2000 base absorbs wax well — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups. The stone finish speeds absorption. Extruded bases are more wax-tolerant than sintered and forgiving of slightly irregular schedules.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Catch-Free Tune already softens the contact points for catch-free turns — only sharpen when truly needed, and detune the contact points more than you would on a higher-end board.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep it in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage. The Extruded 2000 base is easy to repair with P-Tex candles for routine dings — larger damage should go to a qualified tech.
Binding Mounting
The 2 x 4 insert pattern with centered stance geometry supports a true symmetrical mount for switch-friendly learning. Center the bindings around the mid-body for the classic true-twin feel engineered for catch-free freestyle progression.
