Excavator Snowboard

Named for digging deep trenches on groomers and displacing powder after a storm cycle, the Excavator's wider perimeter lets riders size down around 5cm from their usual length without sacrificing performance. The Volume Shift™ design with 20mm taper reduces toe drag for larger-footed riders on deep carves and long traverses. A smooth-flexing S1 Core pairs with ICG™ 10 Biax Glass for damp, responsive feel underfoot, while pre-cambered Carbon Power Forks™ add energy in and out of turns — and to those spontaneous ollies when the slow sign pops up.

Volume Shift™ Sizing
A wider perimeter construction that lets riders size down around 5cm from their usual board length without losing performance. The extra width and 20mm taper benefit riders with larger feet, reducing toe drag on deep carves and long traverses.
Carbon Power Forks™
Pre-cambered carbon forks that deliver an energy boost in and out of turns and add pop to spontaneous ollies. The pre-cambered shape stores and releases energy through the tail for snappy, responsive feel.
S1 Core
A smooth-flexing core that keeps the Excavator responsive and damp underfoot. Tuned to balance playfulness in soft snow with the edge-to-drive needed for trenching groomers.
Dual Radius Sidecut
Two distinct sidecut radii blended into the sidewall — a tighter radius for digging trenches on groomers, blended with a longer radius for displacing powder and float in soft snow.
ICG™ 10 Biax Glass
Biax fiberglass laid tail-to-tail for a smooth, damp feel underfoot. Pairs with the S1 Core to keep the board responsive but never nervous.
Tapered Directional Shape
Directional outline with 20mm of taper — wider nose than tail for natural float in powder and predictable turn release on groomers.
Directional Camber Profile
Camber underfoot for power, edge hold, and pop; subtle directional nose rocker to keep the board loose and forgiving in soft snow.

Waxing
Wax every few riding days or any time the base looks dry, white, or slow. The wax-infused 4001 base absorbs wax quickly — hot wax preferred for full saturation, rub-on for quick field top-ups.
Edge Tuning
Sharpen edges with a file or stone when they feel dull, after hitting rocks, or at the start of each season. The Directional Camber and tapered shape favor forward charging — detune the rear contact point slightly for a less catchy tail release on hardpack.
Storage
Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep in a board bag or sleeve to protect the topsheet and base from scratches during transport.
Repairs
Wipe the base clean after each use and dry before storing. Repair base scratches and core shots promptly to prevent water damage — small dings can be filled with base repair candles, larger damage should go to a qualified tech. The Carbon Power Forks run near the tail; binding-area damage should be repaired carefully to avoid the carbon.
Sizing & Binding Mounting
Because of the Volume Shift design, riders can size down around 5cm from their usual length without losing effective edge contact — useful for smaller riders or anyone wanting a more maneuverable board. The 2 x 4 insert pattern with 0.75" setback supports a slightly tail-set stance for that directional, trenching feel.
