Men's Places We Love Hoodie—Aconcagua
Fleece Hoodie · Everyday / Layering / Year-Round

With bold graphics depicting some of our favorite wild spaces, the Men's Places We Love Hoodie—Aconcagua honors the highest peak in South America. This soft, warm layer is perfect for year-round use and designed for circularity so it can be recycled when you get it back to us. The 360 g/m² fleece is heavy enough to layer under a shell in winter, soft enough to wear solo on a cool evening, and built almost entirely from circular materials so the end of the hoodie's life isn't the end of the story.

Relaxed Fit
Modern relaxed fit through the body with a dropped shoulder for an easy, untucked silhouette. Cut with enough room to layer over a tee or under a shell, the fit is sized to be lived in — not sized to be dressed up. The relaxed cut moves with the body, makes the hoodie a forgiving everyday layer, and looks unfussy whether it's worn around the house or out to the trailhead.
Circular Design
Thoughtfully designed to be disassembled and recycled back into raw materials for a second generation of products at the end of the garment's life. The construction uses single-material panels and easily separated components that can be re-spun without the typical blended-fabric complications. A hoodie that closes its own loop, instead of becoming tomorrow's textile waste.
Climate Conscious Cotton Blend
Body fabric made with 52% Climate Conscious Cotton from farmers using agricultural practices that help build soil carbon, and 48% recycled polyester. The Climate Conscious Cotton is grown in a way that pulls carbon out of the atmosphere and stores it in the soil; the recycled polyester comes from post-consumer plastic. The 50/50 blend is the sweet spot: the cotton gives softness and breathability, the recycled polyester adds structure, helps the fleece recover from compression, and reduces dry time.
Two-Piece Hood
Two-piece hood constructed with a center seam that follows the curve of the head — sits cleanly on the shoulders when worn down and lays flat against the back when pushed back. The two-piece build is the more refined take on the pullover hood, with a slightly closer fit to the head than a single-panel hood. Pulls on and off without catching the way a wider hood can.
Forward-Set Seams
Forward-set shoulder seams and front-body seams — the shoulder seam sits slightly in front of the natural shoulder line rather than directly on top, which gives the relaxed fit a more dropped, streetwear-inspired silhouette. The front-body seams add a subtle visual structure to the front panel and allow more room through the chest for layering. A small construction detail that elevates the relaxed cut from a basic pullover.
Dropped Shoulders
Dropped shoulders are a defining part of the relaxed fit — the shoulder seam sits below the natural shoulder line, which lets the sleeve hang slightly off the shoulder for an untucked, modern silhouette. The dropped shoulder adds layering room across the back and allows the arm to move through a full range of motion without the shoulder seam pulling across the neck. The cut reads streetwear rather than technical.
Kangaroo Hand Pocket
Kangaroo hand pocket on the front — the classic pullover hoodie pocket that warms both hands at once, holds a phone, and stashes a beanie or a pair of gloves when the sun is up. The pocket bag is lined with a lighter 180 g/m² cotton-poly blend for a softer feel against the hands and quicker drying after a sweaty session. The split opening between the two halves means the pocket contents don't slide from one side to the other.
Encased Elastic Cuffs
Encased-elastic cuffs seal out cold air at the wrists and lock in the warmth the fleece is producing. The encased elastic (hidden inside a fabric channel rather than exposed at the cuff edge) holds its shape through years of pull-and-release, so the cuffs don't bag out after a season of wear. The cuff lies flat against the wrist without binding, and the wide cuff opening slides easily over a glove or a watch.
Internal Cinch-Cord Hem
Internal cinch-cord with a cord lock at the hem for adjustability — the hem cinches tight to seal out wind from below, and the cord lock sits inside the hem channel so it doesn't flap around as exposed hardware. The two-handed reach into the hem cinches the fit, which is faster than fishing for a separate drawcord. A small detail that adds a tailored fit option to a relaxed silhouette.
Places We Love Graphics
Various logo and graphic techniques applied to honor Aconcagua — the highest peak in South America, and one of the Places We Love in the heritage subline. The graphics vary by colorway but consistently feature mountain-inspired treatments that reference the Andean climb. The graphic is sized to be visible from across a coffee shop, and the techniques are chosen to survive a season of wash cycles and backpack wear.

End-of-Life
Designed for disassembly and recycling into raw materials
Machine Wash Inside Out
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Turn the hoodie inside out to protect the front graphics and to reduce pilling on the fleece face. Wash with similar fabrics to avoid pilling from rougher materials like denim or canvas. Cold water preserves the cotton fibers, prevents shrinking, and uses less energy than a warm cycle. The 360 g/m² fleece holds a lot of water — don't overload the machine.
Tumble Dry Low
Tumble dry on low heat, or lay flat to dry. Remove from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles. High heat will shrink the cotton, weaken the encased elastic in the cuffs, and degrade the recycled polyester. Low heat or line drying extends the life of the hoodie significantly. The heavyweight fleece takes longer to dry than a lightweight layer — plan for a longer dry cycle.
Iron
Iron on low heat if needed. Avoid ironing directly over the front graphics — use a pressing cloth or iron the hoodie inside out. High heat on a screen print or appliqué can melt or distort the ink and cause it to crack or peel over time. The heavyweight fleece rarely needs ironing if the hoodie is removed from the dryer promptly and folded.
Do Not Bleach
Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softener. Bleach breaks down cotton fibers, fades the graphics, and degrades the recycled polyester. Fabric softener coats the fleece fibers with a film that reduces loft, blocks the breathability, and makes the fleece pill more readily. A mild detergent and a proper wash cycle handle odor and stains without either chemical.
Storage
Fold and store in a cool, dry place. Hang on a wide wooden or padded hanger if hanging, to avoid stretching the dropped shoulder seams or distorting the hood shape. A standard wire hanger can leave pointed shoulder bumps on a relaxed-fit hoodie — folding is usually the better call. Keep the hoodie away from direct sunlight in storage to prevent the graphics from fading over time.
Recycling at End of Life
When the hoodie reaches the end of its wearable life, return it through the brand's take-back program to be disassembled and recycled back into raw materials for a second generation of products. The Circular Design construction is what makes that possible — single-material panels and easily separated components that can be re-spun without the typical blended-fabric complications. The hoodie's afterlife is also Circular Design.
