The Women's Summit Series Altimetro LT Crew is stretchable, slim-fitting and can be worn as either a mid or base layer depending on conditions. Specifically designed to meet the weight requirements of cold-weather mandatory race kits, this trail running crew uses DOTKNIT™ fabric on the body and FLASHDRY-PRO™ fabric in the back panel for maximum moisture management as you pick up the pace.
DOTKNIT™ Body Fabric
Engineered DOTKNIT™ knit on the main body actively moves moisture away from the skin — the yarn-level construction pulls sweat off the body and pushes it to the outer face of the fabric where it can evaporate, keeping the layer from getting heavy and clammy on long climbs, alpine traverses, and high-output trail runs.
FLASHDRY-PRO™ Moisture Management
FLASHDRY-PRO™ treatment on both the main body and back/underarm panels aggressively pulls moisture away from the skin — moves sweat through the fabric face faster than standard FLASHDRY™, so the layer stays light and dry when the pace picks up in cold conditions where a soaked-through base can lead to dangerous post-effort chill.
Body-Mapped Dual-Fabric Construction
Body-mapped construction places the heavier DOTKNIT™ knit on the torso where insulation matters most and a lighter 99 g/m² knit mesh under the arms and across the back — reduces overall layer weight, increases breathability exactly where heat builds up, and keeps the torso warm where the body needs it on cold-weather starts.
Pack-Compatible Construction
Body-mapped fabric + slim-fit cut + engineered face fabric all work together for comfort under a pack — reduces friction at hip-belt and shoulder-strap contact points, prevents bunching under pack compression, and lets the layer move without binding when the pack rides high on a climb.
Engineered Face Fabric
Engineered construction in the face fabric accelerates moisture transfer from the inner surface to the outer — combines with DOTKNIT™ body-mapped structure to keep the layer drying fast even in sustained high-output efforts, preventing the cooling effect of trapped sweat on long descents.
Thumbholes at Cuffs
Thumbholes at the cuffs lock the sleeves in place over the hand on the run — prevents the sleeves from riding up the forearm when reaching forward, keeps the layer properly positioned under gloves or mitts in cold conditions, and seals out cold air at the wrist where heat escapes fastest.
Versatile Mid/Base Layer
Wears as either a mid layer over a thermal base on cold starts or as a stand-alone base layer on milder race days — slim-fit silhouette layers cleanly under a shell without bulk, and the breathable construction works as an outer layer on cool mornings when the pace is high enough to keep the body producing heat.
Stretch Construction
Integrated elastane in the DOTKNIT™ body fabric delivers 4-way stretch that moves with the runner's arm swing and high stride — no binding at the shoulders or chest on big reach steps, no pinch points at the elbow on long climbs, and recovers shape after wearing a pack without bagging out at the elbows.
Race-Kit Weight Compliance
Engineered to meet the weight requirements of cold-weather mandatory race kits — light enough to wear for the duration of a long race or training run, packs small enough to qualify as required safety equipment on mandatory-gear lists, and warm enough to handle the post-effort cooling phase on alpine routes.
Reflective Hits Throughout
Reflective heat-transfer logo on the left chest and back-right shoulder, dedicated reflective bar across the lower back, plus additional reflective hits throughout the body — catches headlights and headlamps from a meaningful distance for pre-dawn start lines, dusk finishes, and any time the run extends into low-light conditions.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors — use a mild, technical-fabric detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and enzyme-based detergents, which can degrade the DOTKNIT™ body fabric construction, strip the FLASHDRY-PRO™ moisture-wicking treatment, and degrade the elastane that gives the layer its stretch over time. Turn the layer inside out before washing to protect the reflective logos, reflective bar, and additional reflective hits from abrasion.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry — FLASHDRY-PRO™ fabric dries quickly on its own, so high heat is unnecessary and can damage the elastane, degrade the DOTKNIT™ body-mapped construction, and warp the thumbhole cuffs. Make sure the layer is fully dry before storing.
FLASHDRY-PRO™ Maintenance
The FLASHDRY-PRO™ treatment is built into the fabric and lasts the life of the product as long as the fabric remains intact. Avoid stretching the layer aggressively when wet, which can compromise the knit structure and reduce moisture-management performance. If the layer stops moving moisture effectively after heavy use and many wash cycles, retire it from race-kit duty and move it to training-only rotation.
Reflective Care
Periodically check the reflective heat-transfer logo on the left chest, the back-right shoulder logo, the lower-back reflective bar, and the additional reflective hits — if any start peeling or losing reflectivity, the layer should be retired from low-light race use even if the body fabric is still functional.
No Ironing
Do not iron — the heat can melt the reflective heat-transfer logos, damage the DOTKNIT™ body fabric construction, and degrade the elastane. If the layer needs freshening between washes, hang it in a steamy bathroom or use a garment steamer held at a safe distance.
Storage
Store flat or loosely folded in a dry place away from direct sunlight — UV exposure over time can degrade the DOTKNIT™ fabric, the FLASHDRY-PRO™ treatment, and fade the reflective hits. Don't compress the layer under heavy gear for extended periods, which can crush the loft of the body fabric and reduce thermal performance.
