We designed the Women's TNF™ Easy Wind Cargo Pants for lightweight, portable, wind protection. Made from fully recycled WINDWALL™ body fabric with a water-repellent finish, gusty days will no longer keep you from getting out there. These versatile pants have a relaxed fit, multiple secure pockets, and can stow in the back pocket — toss them in your bag when not in use.

100% Recycled Nylon Body
Body fabric made with recycled nylon — diverts fishing nets, fabric scraps, and other nylon waste from landfill. Same durability and tear-resistance as virgin nylon with a smaller environmental footprint.
Multiple Pocket Configuration
Six pockets total — drop-in hand pockets at the hips, two drop-in cargo pockets on the thighs, and two secure-zip back pockets. Hands stay warm in the hand pockets; phone, keys, snacks, and small essentials distribute across the cargo and back pockets without bulging the silhouette.
Stows in Back Pocket
The entire pant packs into the back-right pocket — turn the pant inside out, stuff it into the pocket, and zip closed for a self-contained stuff sack. Perfect for travel, trail running, and any activity where you might want to shed a layer mid-route.
Stow Loop Accessibility
Stow loop is accessible even when the pant is packed in the pocket — clip the bundled pant to a pack or harness via the loop without unpacking it. Useful for climbers and backpackers who want to keep the pant attached but out of the way.
Stretch Waistband
Stretch waistband with an internal drawcord — comfortable for all-day wear, accommodates a heavier meal or a baselayer underneath, and the drawcord keeps the waist from slipping when you're moving dynamically.
Cinch-Cord Cuffs
Cinch-cord at cuffs lets you adjust the leg opening — cinch down for hiking, climbing, or biking (keeps pants from catching in heels or chain); loosen for casual wear.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Use a mild technical detergent (Nikwax Tech Wash, Granger's, or similar) — skip regular laundry detergent as it leaves residues that clog the WINDWALL™ fabric pores and reduce breathability. Zip all pockets closed before washing.
Skip Fabric Softener
Skip fabric softener, dryer sheets, and bleach. They coat or damage the non-PFC DWR finish and reduce water repellency over time. If odors persist, add a tablespoon of white vinegar to the rinse cycle or use a strip-wash.
DWR Refresh (Critical for Wind Pants)
The non-PFC DWR finish wears off with use and washes — when water stops beading and the fabric starts to "wet out" (looks dark and heavy when wet), refresh the DWR. Apply Nikwax TX.Direct Spray-On or Granger's Performance Repel to a clean, dry pant. Tumble dry low for 20 minutes to heat-cure the finish (low heat won't damage recycled nylon).
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. The 138 g/m² recycled nylon dries quickly — air-drying is fine. Avoid high heat, which can damage the WINDWALL™ membrane, melt the elastic in the waistband, and warp the cinch-cord adjusters.
Stain Treatment
For mud, dirt, grass, or food stains, pre-treat with a dab of liquid laundry detergent before washing. Avoid chlorine bleach — it breaks down recycled nylon fibers. For tree sap or wax, let it harden, then peel off and treat the residue with a small amount of mineral spirits on a cloth.
Cinch-Cord & Drawcord Care
The internal waistband drawcord and cuff cinch-cords can tangle in the washer. Tuck them inside the waistband or cuff before washing, or use a mesh laundry bag. If they tangle, untangle by hand rather than pulling — the cord locks can crack if stressed.
Pocket Zipper Care
The two secure-zip back pockets are the most likely failure point. If a zipper sticks, lubricate with a graphite pencil (run the pencil up and down both sides of the zipper teeth) or a small amount of beeswax. Avoid forcing a stuck zipper — it can break the slider or the teeth.
Storage
Store folded or hung on a wide hanger. The relaxed fit means hanging won't distort the waistband. For long-term storage, store loose (not compression-packed) — the WINDWALL™ membrane needs to breathe and the recycled nylon can develop permanent creases under sustained compression.
Travel Packing
This pant is designed for travel — use the stow-in-back-pocket feature for air-travel and backpacking. The bundled pant is roughly the size of a water bottle and weighs almost nothing. Clip the stow loop to a pack or harness for hands-free transport.
Recycled Nylon Longevity
The 100% recycled nylon holds up better than many virgin nylons to repeated abrasion (rocks, branches, pack hip-belts). The recycled pocket lining (50D) is the weakest point — avoid overstuffing cargo pockets with sharp objects that can poke through.
