The ultra-lightweight Men's Summit Series Superior FUTURELIGHT™ Jacket was designed with the needs of trail runners in mind. Constructed from our 100% recycled, breathable-waterproof FUTURELIGHT™ fabric, this jacket can be easily stowed in its own pocket, limiting bulk and allowing you to move freely on the mountain—an essential for any race kit.

FUTURELIGHT™ 3L Waterproof Shell
Nanospun FUTURELIGHT™ membrane delivers breathable-waterproof, seam-sealed protection in a 3-layer shell construction — keeps rain and snow out while moving sweat vapor through the fabric, so the jacket doesn't turn into a sweat bag on high-output trail runs, ridge traverses, and mountain ascents.
Ultra-Light 7D x 15D Recycled Nylon
Body fabric is 71 g/m² recycled nylon with a 7D x 15D weave — among the lightest weight-class waterproof shells on the market, light enough to feel weightless on the run but tough enough to handle abrasive pack straps, branches, and repeated use in a race kit or training rotation.
Stows in Own Pocket
Compresses down into its own secure-zip pocket on the right side — tosses into a hydration vest, run pack, or cycling jersey without taking up real estate, ready to be pulled out at altitude or when a front rolls in mid-run.
Two-Way Water-Resistant CF Zip
Two-way, reverse-coil, water-resistant center front zipper lets you vent from the bottom (hip belt clearance + dumping heat on climbs) while keeping the top sealed against wind and rain — pack access stays easy without unzipping the entire jacket.
Adjustable Hood with Cinch-Cord
Adjustable hood with cinch-cord dials in a close fit over a running cap or helmet — seals out wind and rain at the crown without obstructing peripheral vision, and tucks out of the way cleanly when not needed.
Bonded Cuffs with Pre-Tensioned Elastic
Bonded cuffs with partial, pre-tensioned encased elastic lock the sleeves in place over gloves or watch GPS without flapping at high arm cadence — eliminates the billowing that breaks focus on fast descents and saves energy over long miles.

Reflective logos on the chest and back plus a dedicated reflective bar across the lower back — catches headlights and headlamps from a meaningful distance for early-morning start lines, dusk finishes, and any time the run extends into low-light conditions.
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish on the face fabric causes rain and snow to bead up and roll off the surface of the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane — keeps the shell from wetting out and weighing down on long wet runs, while extending the membrane's life by reducing how hard it has to work.
Trail-Runner-Specific Cut
Regular-fit silhouette is cut to move with a runner's arm swing and high stride — long enough to cover the lower back when reaching forward, roomy enough through the chest for layering a base layer underneath without binding, and short enough in the sleeve to clear the wrists at full extension.

Washing
Close all zippers before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors — use a mild, technical-fabric detergent (or a dedicated cleaner for waterproof membranes). Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and enzyme-based detergents, which can clog the nanospun FUTURELIGHT™ membrane, strip the non-PFC DWR finish on the face fabric, and degrade the bonded cuffs over time. Turn the jacket inside out before washing to protect the reflective logos and reflective bar on the lower back from abrasion.
Drying
Tumble dry on low to medium heat for 20–30 minutes after washing — the gentle heat reactivates the non-PFC DWR finish on the face fabric, which restores water beading and keeps the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane from having to do all the waterproofing work. Avoid high heat, which can damage the recycled nylon fibers, delaminate the 3L construction, and warp the bonded cuffs and zippers.
DWR Maintenance
The non-PFC DWR finish on the face fabric wears off gradually with use and wash cycles. If the face fabric starts wetting out (water soaking into the nylon instead of beading across the surface), wash the jacket and tumble dry on low to medium heat to reactivate the finish, or apply a DWR refresh spray specifically rated for FUTURELIGHT™ / 3-layer waterproof membranes to restore water repellency.
Membrane Care
Avoid folding or compressing the jacket tightly for long periods, which can crack the nanospun FUTURELIGHT™ membrane and degrade waterproof performance — store hanging or loosely stuffed. Don't store wet, and don't dry-clean or use harsh solvents, which destroy the membrane.
Zipper Care
Keep the two-way, reverse-coil, water-resistant center front zipper clean and free of debris — periodically brush it lightly with a soft brush to clear dust from the teeth. The water-resistant coating on the zipper can wear over time; if it starts leaking through the zipper in heavy rain, apply a fresh zipper waterproofing treatment to restore full water resistance.
Storage
Store hanging on a wide hanger or loosely stuffed in a dry place away from direct sunlight — UV exposure over time can degrade the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane and fade the shell. Don't compress the jacket under heavy gear for extended periods, which can crack the nanospun membrane and reduce breathability.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
