Amigazo Fleece Jacket - Women's

Amigazo translates to "big friend," and that's exactly what this fleece is. Made from soft 100% recycled fabric, the Amigazo Fleece Jacket is a super fun, super cozy layer that's perfect for around town, around camp, or around the cabin.

High-Pile 350 gsm Fleece
Heaviest fleece in the Cotopaxi lineup at 350 gsm — high-pile construction creates a fluffy, shaggy texture (similar to vintage Patagonia Retro Pile). Traps more air than standard flat fleece = warmer for the weight. Soft hand-feel against skin.
Clean Front Finish w/ Stretch Binding
Clean finish at the front (no flap or placket) with stretch binding at the cuffs and hem — gives the jacket a streamlined look vs. typical fleece pullovers. Stretch binding moves with the body without bunching.
Zippered Chest Pocket
Zippered chest pocket for keys, cards, or phone — secure storage for essentials. Same pocket position as the Llama Patch Pullover Hoodie and other Cotopaxi fleeces.
Open Hand Pockets w/ Fleece Lining
Open hand pockets at the waist lined with the same high-pile fleece — hand-warming without zippers for easy access. Lined pockets trap more warmth than single-layer construction.
2-Way Center Front Zipper
Full 2-way center zipper — zip from top for full closure, unzip from bottom for venting or sitting comfort. Same zipper pattern as the Fuego Down Hooded Jacket and other Cotopaxi outerwear.
Relaxed Fit
Relaxed fit (per PDP) — comfortable, roomy, easy to layer over a tee or under a shell. Note: review content confirms Runs large — consider sizing down if between sizes.

Washing
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Turn inside out to protect the high-pile surface. Close all zippers before washing. Use a mild detergent — no bleach.
Drying
Tumble dry LOW or hang dry. Hang drying preserves the high-pile loft longest; tumble dry restores loft if fleece has compressed with use.
Pilling Care
High-pile fleece can pill with abrasion (backpack straps, seatbelts). Use a fabric shaver gently on pilled areas to restore the surface. Avoid pulling loose fibers.
Ironing
Do not iron. Direct heat flattens the high-pile texture permanently.
Bleach
Do not bleach.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. Solvents damage the high-pile construction.
Storage
Fold and store on a shelf or hang on a wide hanger. Avoid storing compressed under heavy items — flattens the high-pile loft permanently.
