Hiking Crew Socks
Hiking Crew Socks
Socks · Hiking / Trail

Designed for long days on the trail, the Hiking Crew Socks are made from a soft Merino wool blend. They feature heel and toe cushioning and a padded sole for comfort and performance mile after mile. The Merino blend manages moisture and resists odor on multi-day trips, while the strategic cushioning softens the impact of every step on rough terrain. Pull them on, lace up, forget about your feet for the next ten miles.

Merino Wool Blend
Soft Merino wool blend (32%) blended with polyamide and polypropylene for the perfect balance of warmth, moisture management, and durability. Merino naturally resists odor on multi-day trips and continues to insulate when damp — keeps your feet comfortable in a wide range of trail conditions.
Crew Sock Height
Crew height rises above the ankle bone to protect against trail debris, low brush, and the rub of a mid-height hiking boot collar. Tall enough to pair with mid and high-cut hiking boots without the sock slipping down into the shoe.
Padded Sole
Padded sole adds a layer of cushion under the entire foot — softens the impact of every step on rocky, rooty, and uneven terrain. Adds warmth under the foot in cold weather and reduces friction on long descent days.
Heel & Toe Cushioning
Cushioning at the heel, toe, and front sole — the high-impact zones that take the most abuse on a long day. Targeted cushioning prevents the hot spots and blisters that turn a good hike into a limping finish.
Extended Heel
Extended heel design provides extra protection and a more secure fit inside the hiking boot — the heel stays seated in the cup of the boot instead of sliding on steep descents, reducing friction and the risk of blisters.
Ribbed Top
Ribbed construction on the upper sock keeps the sock in place without binding or pinching at the calf — stays up through the full day without the elastic leaving a deep mark on the skin. The rib also adds a touch of stretch for a dialed-in fit.
Top-Belt Midfoot Support
Top-belt support band at the midfoot adds structure and a snug fit across the arch — keeps the sock from bunching or sliding under the foot and provides light arch support on long days. Reduces fatigue and the hot spots that build up over distance.
Stretch Construction
Stretch fibers throughout the knit give the sock a full, comfortable fit that moves with the foot — accommodates the natural swelling that happens on long hikes without the sock cutting off circulation.
Logo on Back of Cuff
Small woven logo on the back of the cuff — subtle branding that doesn't get in the way of the fit or rub against the boot. Just enough to know what they are when you pull them out of the drawer.

Machine Wash Warm
Machine wash warm with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets — they coat the Merino fibers and reduce the natural moisture-wicking and odor-resistance that make the socks work. Turn inside out before washing to extend the life of the outer knit.
Tumble Dry Low
Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. High heat can shrink the Merino and damage the elastane in the rib, which would ruin the fit and the recovery of the sock.
Refresh Between Wears
On multi-day trips, hang the socks to air dry after each wear. The Merino naturally resists odor, so a full wash isn't always needed between wears. Hang them on the outside of your pack in the sun or wind, and they're usually dry by the next camp.
Storage
Store flat or rolled in a drawer. Avoid hanging socks by the cuff for long periods — the elastic can stretch out and the sock will lose its snug fit at the ankle. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Pilling Care
If pilling develops on the high-friction areas (heel, toe, sole), remove gently with a fabric shaver. Avoid pulling pills by hand — it can loosen the knit and create small holes that grow over time.
