For those who balance work and creativity on the go. With a roomy main compartment, laptop sleeve, and dual side pockets, it keeps you organized in style. Just like the original Hatchet, with a streamlined rolltop for an even sleeker look.

Roll Top Closure
The signature roll top folds down over the main compartment and buckles shut — the streamlined silhouette is the headline visual, but the roll also expands or contracts with the load and adds weather protection over the main zipper.
Quick-Access Back Zipper
A quick-access back zipper reaches the main compartment without unrolling the top — drop the laptop in or pull it out without unbuckling the roll top, the small detail that makes the Hatchet Rolltop feel less like a fuss than a traditional rolltop.
Dedicated Laptop Sleeve
A dedicated padded laptop sleeve inside the main compartment protects a work or school laptop — sits flat against the back panel so the load rides centered and balanced.
Dual Water Bottle Pockets
Dual side water bottle pockets stretch to fit most bottle sizes — the symmetry keeps the pack balanced when one bottle is full and the other is empty.
EVA Shoulder Straps
EVA shoulder straps provide structure and cushion on the shoulder — the EVA foam holds its shape longer than basic webbing straps and gives the rolltop a more substantial feel under load.
V-Loft Lined Zipper Pocket
A V-Loft lined zipper pocket gives a soft-touch landing spot for a phone, sunglasses, or a delicate accessory — the same fleece-like lining used on higher-end bags, applied here to one of the front pockets.
Front Zippered Accessory Pocket
A front zippered accessory pocket keeps the small essentials — keys, charger, wallet — reachable without unrolling the top or reaching into the main compartment.
Side Compression Straps
Side compression straps cinch down the roll top when the load is light — the buckles pull the body of the pack closer to the contents, killing the empty-bag sway that turns a half-full pack into an unstable carry.
Fully Padded Back Panel
A fully padded back panel adds cushion and structure against the laptop sleeve — the padding also lets the pack hold its shape when not fully loaded, instead of collapsing onto the contents.

Spot Cleaning
Wipe the recycled 600D body with a damp cloth and mild soap. Treat stains early — the coated polyester face releases grime easily when fresh but sets in if left to bake in the sun after a commute.
Roll Top & Buckle
The roll top closure and its buckle take repeated flexing every time the pack opens — check the buckle and the webbing anchor every few months. A loose buckle lets the roll flop open and exposes the main compartment zipper to weather.
V-Loft Lined Pocket
The V-Loft fleece-like lining in the front pocket can pill or attract lint over time — brush it gently with a soft lint brush and avoid snagging the lining with keys or a metal wallet chain.
EVA Shoulder Straps
The EVA foam shoulder straps hold their shape better than webbing but still absorb body sweat over time — wipe the strap undersides occasionally and air out the pack between uses. Avoid machine-drying the straps; high heat can deform the foam.
Storage
Store the Hatchet Rolltop unrolled (or loosely rolled, not buckled tight) in a dry place between trips so the roll top webbing doesn't take a permanent crease. Loosen the side compression straps before long-term storage so the buckles don't deform the side fabric.
