The unisex Summit Fastpack GORE-TEX® is the pinnacle ultra-distance hiking boot. They harness a dual-layer midsole with a three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane and highly responsive DREAM foam cushioning at the bottom for a lightweight, soft and bouncy underfoot experience. The firmer foam stability chassis on top provides instant comfort, while the climbing-inspired ankle design keeps your ankles stable and supported.

GORE-TEX® 3L Waterproof Membrane

Climbing-Inspired Ankle Design
Ankle geometry borrowed from climbing footwear provides active support on uneven terrain without the bulky stiffness of a traditional backpacking boot — stable through talus and sidehilling, comfortable enough to wear all day.

Specta ripstop upper resists abrasion and tearing from rocks, scree, and brush — a tough, lightweight fabric built for the punishment of serious trail miles without adding unnecessary weight.

Cleaning After Hikes
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after each hike. For caked mud, let it dry completely first, then brush it off — never scrub wet mud because it pushes deeper into the fabric, the seams, and clogsthe GORE-TEX membrane.
Washing
Hand wash only with lukewarm water and a technical footwear cleaner (Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel or similar). Avoid machine washing — the agitator can damage the GORE-TEX membrane, delaminate the sole, and degrade the upper materials over time.
Drying
Remove insoles and laces, then stuff the boots with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and hold shape. Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. Never use a dryer, radiator, fireplace, or heater vent — heat damages the GORE-TEX membrane, warps the EVA midsole, and degrades the Vibram rubber outsole.
Waterproofing Refresh
Re-apply a DWR treatment to the upper periodically (Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof or similar spray-on or wash-in product) to maintain water beading on the surface. Re-proof when water stops beading and instead soaks into the fabric.
Outsole Maintenance
Clean mud and small stones from the Vibram Megagrip lugs after each hike to maintain full traction performance — embedded debris reduces grip and accelerates wear on the rubber compound.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use boot trees or stuff with paper to maintain shape between trips. Never store wet — moisture promotes mildew, degrades adhesives, and causes premature delamination of the sole unit.

Bicycles:

Complete bikes typically ship within 2–3 weeks due to build, tuning, and inspection times. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is ready to ship.

Riding Gear & Apparel:

Riding gear and apparel orders (helmets, jerseys, gloves, etc.) ship within 2-5 business days.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
