Cleaning Suede Upper
Brush the suede upper regularly with a soft suede brush to lift dirt and restore the nap. For tougher stains, use a suede eraser or a suede-specific cleaner — never soak the suede in water, which can stain and stiffen the leather.
Water-Repellent Refresh
The water-resistant suede upper benefits from periodic re-proofing with a suede-specific water repellent spray (Nikwax Nubuck & Suede Proof or similar). Apply in a well-ventilated area, let dry fully before wearing.
Drying
If the boots get wet, stuff them with newspaper or paper towels and air dry at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. Never use a dryer, radiator, or fireplace — heat warps the EVA midsole, degrades the TPU heel cradle, and damages the suede upper.
Hardware Care
Wipe the rustproof hardware with a dry cloth occasionally to keep it looking clean. If laces get wet or muddy, replace them or wash separately — old laces can stain the suede tongue.
Outsole Maintenance
Periodically clear the 6 mm lugs of embedded debris — stones, gravel, and dirt caught in the tread reduce traction. A small brush or pick works well for cleaning between lugs.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use boot trees or stuff with paper to maintain shape between wears. Don't store wet — moisture can damage the suede upper and degrade the adhesives that bond the sole unit over time.
