Two water bottle pockets keep hydration within easy reach, and a convenient interior divider helps keep books, binders, and gear organized. Whether it's the school commute, weekend practice, or a sleepover, this is the everyday backpack built for active kids who need real functionality in a smaller frame.
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap — handles most daily dust, scuffs, food spills, and classroom grime without a full wash.
Wipe down the 600D recycled polyester body and the non-PFC DWR finish with a damp cloth periodically to refresh the water-shedding performance and remove any salt, grime, or playground debris buildup.
For deeper cleaning, hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Avoid submerging the pack fully or spraying water directly at the zippers or seam-sealed areas — internal moisture can lead to mildew and odor buildup.
Open the main compartment fully and prop the pack open to air dry after any moisture exposure — prevents mildew and odor buildup in the fabric, divider sleeve, and any internal mesh pockets.
Hang to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry and do not iron — heat can damage the 600D polyester fabric, the non-PFC DWR finish, and the reflective details.
Do not bleach and do not dry clean — both can strip the DWR finish and degrade the recycled polyester fabric.
Re-treat the DWR finish periodically (or as needed) with a non-PFC spray-on water repellent (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) to refresh the water-shedding performance.
Wipe the reflective details gently with a soft cloth periodically to restore their visibility — the reflective treatment can degrade with heavy scuffing and dirt buildup.
Check the main compartment zipper, the internal divider sleeve, the water bottle pocket elastic, and the front bungee cord periodically for wear — these are the most-stressed components on a daily-use kids' pack and benefit from early repair.
Write the owner's name on the internal name tag with a Sharpie before the first day of school or camp — survives washing for years and saves the lost-and-found pile-up.
Store the pack in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid long-term storage in a sealed plastic bag or in direct sunlight, which can degrade the DWR finish and the reflective details over time.
Empty the pack fully at the end of each week — leftover lunches, gym clothes, and forgotten water bottles are the #1 source of pack odor and mildew.
