As our lightest Summit Series shell, the Women’s FUTURELIGHT™ Papsura Jacket gives you protection from the elements in a durable, low-bulk design. The breathable-waterproof FUTURELIGHT™ 3L fabric is made from ultra-light, 100% recycled nylon and packs down into its own pocket for convenience. A seamless shoulder design, underarm gussets and an adjustable hood help keep you comfortable and moving when on the wall or on the trail.

Nanospun membrane delivering breathable-waterproof performance in an ultralight, fully seam-sealed construction
Cleaning
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a mild, technical detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or stain remover — these clog the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane pores, strip the non-PFC DWR finish, and degrade the 7D x 15D recycled nylon ripstop.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat for 20–30 minutes or line dry. Low tumble heat reactivates the DWR finish on the FUTURELIGHT™ 3L face fabric; high heat can damage the nanospun membrane and the bonded cuff/hem construction.
Re-Proofing
The non-PFC DWR finish can be reactivated by tumble drying on low heat. When water no longer beads on the face fabric, apply a PFC-free DWR spray treatment and tumble dry low to bond.
Stow Pocket
The jacket stows in its right hand pocket — turn the pocket inside out and stuff the body of the jacket into it for a compact package. Avoid forcing the fabric; the 7D x 15D ripstop is ultra-light and can snag on hardware if rushed.
Bonded Construction
The bonded brim, bonded cuffs, and bonded front/back hem use welded construction (no stitching). Avoid prolonged abrasion against rough surfaces (backpack straps, rocks, ice tools) — bonding is durable but lighter than stitched seams and can delaminate if repeatedly stressed.
Zipper Care
The VISLON® AquaGuard® center front zip and the secure-zip hand pocket zips need to be kept free of grit and salt. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse as needed. Lubricate sparingly with a silicone-based zipper lubricant if the pull becomes stiff.
Hood
Confirm the rear cinch-cord with cord lock on the encased-elastic hood opening releases smoothly before each season. The bonded brim holds its shape under wind and packs flat for stowing.
Gear Loop & Mesh Pouch
The right hand pocket's internal gear loop is sized for clipping a small carabiner or keys. The left hand pocket's internal mesh pouch keeps small items visible — empty it before washing to avoid snagging on the mesh.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang on a wide hanger or store loosely in its stow pocket. Do not compress the FUTURELIGHT™ 3L laminate for extended periods — folds can weaken the membrane over time.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you received the wrong size or wish to exchange an item, it must be returned in original condition—unused, uninstalled, and with all packaging intact.
