Women's Summit Series FUTUREFLEECE™ LT ½-Zip
Women's Summit Series FUTUREFLEECE™ LT ½-Zip
Lightweight Mid-Layer · Mountaineering / Alpine

The slim-fit Women's Summit Series FUTUREFLEECE™ LT ½-Zip features a low-pile version of our full-loop fabric technology that helps minimize weight and optimize body temperature. It's designed to be worn over a base layer or under whatever insulation the mission calls for. Under-pack comfort is also prioritized with flat-locked stitching and no shoulder seams — built for the summit push, the alpine start, and every long, fast, light mission in between.

FUTUREFLEECE™ LT technology
FUTUREFLEECE™ LT features a lower-pile full-loop construction and octa-yarns to provide an optimal warmth-to-weight ratio — minimal weight, maximum thermal efficiency for high-output alpine activity
No shoulder seams
No shoulder seams for added comfort and reduced bulk while you're wearing a pack — eliminates chafing and pressure points under shoulder straps over long days
Raglan sleeves + stretch gussets
Raglan sleeves and stretch underarm gussets for increased mobility — high reaches, climbing moves, and dynamic alpine terrain without restriction
Flat-locked stitching
Flat-locked stitching in key zones for next-to-skin comfort — reduces chafing on long days under a pack or harness
Integrated thumb loops
Flat-sewn elastic cuffs with integrated thumb loops — seal in warmth at the wrists, prevent sleeve ride-up, and layer cleanly under shell sleeves
Reverse-coil half zip
Reverse-coil, #3 center front half zip for quick temperature control on the climb — zip down to vent, zip up to seal in core warmth
Clean-finish hem
Clean-finish front hem with a flat-sewn elastic back hem — stays tucked under a harness or climbing belt, no bulk under a pack waistbelt
Slim fit
Slim fit layers cleanly under a shell or over a base layer without compressing loft or restricting movement

Sustainability

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors using a mild technical-fabric detergent. Close the half zip to prevent snagging the flat-locked seams and the FUTUREFLEECE™ face. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softener.
Drying
Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. The lightweight FUTUREFLEECE™ LT fabric is quick-drying — typically dry overnight on a hanger.
Detergent
Use a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener — it can coat the octa-yarn fibers and reduce the full-loop construction's warmth-to-weight performance.
Pilling Care
The lower-pile full-loop construction can pill at high-friction zones (under pack straps, around the hem, under a harness) after extended use. Remove pills with a fabric shaver to keep the surface working at full performance.
Zipper Care
Keep the reverse-coil #3 half zip clean and free of debris. Lubricate occasionally with a graphite-free stick or beeswax if it begins to stick or snag on the flat-locked seams.
Thumb Loop Care
Check the flat-sewn elastic cuffs and integrated thumb loops before each trip. If a thumb loop starts to fray, retire the mid-layer from high-abuse alpine use to extend its life.
Storage
Fold and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hanging on a wide hanger preserves the slim fit; hanging on a thin hanger can stretch the shoulders over time.
Layering Use
Built to be worn over a base layer or under whatever insulation the mission calls for. The slim fit and lightweight build layer cleanly under hardshells without bulk, and over a merino or synthetic base layer for added warmth on cold summits.
