Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors. Turn the shorts inside out to protect the heat-transfer logo and the woven face fabric. Use a mild technical-fabric detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softener.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. The FLASHDRY™ fabric is quick-drying — typically dry in a single low-heat cycle or overnight on a hanger. Reshape the elasticated waistband while damp.
Detergent
Use a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener — it can coat the FLASHDRY™ fibers and reduce the moisture management performance.
Stain & Workout Care
Pre-treat sweat, mud, food, and grass stains with a dab of mild detergent before washing. Rinse thoroughly to keep the recycled polyester and FLASHDRY™ working at full performance.
DWR Refresh
Non-PFC DWR wears off with heavy use. Re-treat periodically with a spray-on DWR designed for technical apparel to maintain surface water beading.
Pocket Care
Empty all pockets before washing. The concealed-zip back pocket has a delicate closure — test periodically to make sure it zips cleanly and clear debris from the teeth.
Split Hem Care
The split hem at the side seams can stretch out if the shorts are hung to dry by the waistband. Reshape the hems while damp and either tumble dry or lay flat to dry.
Storage
Fold in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hanging by the waistband can stretch the elastic and distort the split hem over time.
