Trail Lite 36 Backpack
Trail Lite 36 Backpack
36L Daypack · S/M + L/XL Sizing · Hydration Compatible · Trekking-Pole & Ice-Axe Carry · 210D Ripstop · Dual Sternum Straps · Trail & Overnight

The Trail Lite 36 is a highly technical daypack full of features designed to optimize fit, maximize access to your gear, and distribute weight comfortably — because the challenge in your day hike (or overnight) shouldn't come from your pack. Sized to handle ambitious day hikes, fast-and-light overnights, and ridge scrambles, it balances a breathable carry with the organization and carry options of a true technical pack.

Breathable Back Panel & Shoulder Straps
A breathable back panel and shoulder straps have a contoured fit built for active pursuits — channels air against your back on hot climbs and distributes load evenly on long trail days.
Adjustable Thoracic Carriage
An adjustable thoracic carriage at the back panel lets you dial in the right torso fit — fine-tunes where the load sits on your back, so heavier carries stay comfortable over multi-mile days.
Padded Hipbelt with Stretch Pockets
A padded hipbelt carries the load on your hips, not your shoulders — two stretch, quick-access hipbelt pockets hold a phone, snacks, or a camera without breaking your stride.
Stretch-Mesh Shoulder Strap Pocket
A stretch-mesh pocket on the shoulder strap holds soft flasks or smaller items within easy reach — perfect for nutrition gels and quick sips without taking the pack off.
Secure-Zip Phone Pocket on Strap
A secure-zip, quick-access phone pocket on the shoulder strap keeps your phone safe and visible — check trail maps and notifications without digging through the main compartment.
Dual Sternum Straps
Dual sternum straps lock the shoulder straps in place at whatever pace you're hiking — slide them up for high-energy scrambles or down for relaxed ridge walks.
Cinch-Top Opening
A cinch-top opening pulls the main compartment closed with a single cord — fast access when you need to grab a layer or stash a wet shell at a trail junction.
Removable Top Lid
A removable top lid has two compartments for separating and organizing smaller items — pull it off to drop weight on fast hikes or leave it on for overnight loads.
Large Zippered Main Compartment
A large, zippered main compartment gives wide-mouth access to everything inside — no fishing around the bottom of a top-loading pack for buried layers or food.
Internal Mesh Pocket with Key Hook
An internal mesh pocket with a key hook keeps small essentials — keys, wallet, headlamp — tidy and easy to find — no more panic-dumping the pack to find your car keys at the trailhead.
Hydration Bladder Pocket
An internal water bladder pocket holds a 2–3 liter reservoir for hands-free hydration — pair with a hydration tube port on the shoulder strap and you can drink without breaking stride.
Strategically-Placed Water Bottle Pockets
Two external water bottle pockets have openings positioned for access while wearing the pack — reach back, grab your bottle, sip, and stow without removing the pack.
Trekking-Pole & Ice-Axe Carry
Built-in trekking-pole and ice-axe carry lets you stow your tools when you need your hands free — quick-deploy loops keep poles accessible for the next climb without taking the pack off.
Front Bungee System
A front bungee system holds bulky items — extra layers, a wet shell, a camp pad — without opening the main compartment or filling internal space.
Side Compression Straps
Side compression straps cinch the pack down when you don't need full volume — keeps the load stable on technical terrain and tightens up the carry on fast day hikes.
Reflective Details
Reflective detailing boosts visibility in low-light conditions — handy for early-morning trailhead starts, late finishes, and shoulder-season day hikes with shorter daylight windows.

What's Included
In Box
1 × Trail Lite 36 Backpack

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap — handles most trail dust, dirt, and stains without a full wash.

For deeper cleaning, hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the pack — squeeze gently and press water out with a towel.

Hang to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry and do not iron — heat can damage the 210D nylon ripstop shell and degrade the DWR finish.

Do not bleach and do not dry clean — both can degrade the DWR finish on the shell and the 600D recycled polyester boot fabric.

Re-treat the DWR finish periodically (or as needed) with a non-PFC spray-on water repellent (like Nikwax TX Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) to refresh the water-shedding performance of the shell.

Open all compartments and shake out debris after every trip. Store the pack in a cool, dry place when not in use. Loosen all straps to prevent compression damage during long-term storage.
