Engineered with breathable polyester fabric and sweat-wicking FlashDry™ technology, the Lightbright 2-in-1 5" Shorts keep you dry and fresh as you rack up long miles on the trail. They feature a tight membrane on the inside that stays snug against the skin and helps reduce chafing.

Dedicated back phone pocket sized for modern smartphones — keeps your phone secure and accessible without bouncing during runs. The pocket placement at the back waistband is the standard running-short position.
Reflective Bars
Reflective bars for low-light visibility — passive safety feature for early-morning trail runs, late-evening training sessions, or year-round commuting. The bars are subtle in daylight but highly visible under headlight or streetlight.
Elastic Waist

Machine Washing
Machine wash at 40°C (104°F) or below with similar colors. Wash as often as necessary to remove impurities — sweat, dirt, cooking odors, and campfire smoke all build up in activewear and reduce the FlashDry™ performance if left in the fabric.
Skip the Softener
Skip fabric softener, dryer sheets, and bleach. They coat or damage the FlashDry™ fibers and reduce moisture-wicking performance. For odors, use a technical-fabric wash or a tablespoon of white vinegar in the rinse cycle.
Hang to Dry
Hang dry naturally — the lightweight woven polyester dries quickly on a hanger or drying rack. Skip the dryer if possible; high heat can degrade the FlashDry™ fibers over time and reduce moisture-wicking performance.
Inner Liner Care
The inner anti-chafing liner is integrated into the short and can't be removed. Wash and dry the short as one piece — the liner is the same fabric construction, so care is identical. If the liner develops odor from heavy sweat, soak the whole short in a 50/50 mix of cold water and white vinegar for 30 minutes before the normal wash cycle.
Stain Treatment
Pre-treat sweat, grass, or mud stains with a dab of liquid laundry detergent or a technical stain remover before washing. Avoid chlorine bleach — it damages polyester fibers and can discolor the short.
Reflective Bar Care
The reflective bars are heat-transferred onto the short. Avoid ironing directly on the reflective areas — high heat can melt or delaminate the transfer. If ironing is needed, use a pressing cloth between the iron and the reflective zones.
Elastic Waist Care
The elastic waistband can lose elasticity if dried at high heat or hung wet. After washing, lay flat or drape over a wide hanger to air-dry so the elastic recovers its shape. Skip the dryer for long-term elasticity preservation.
Pilling Prevention
Woven polyester can pill at high-friction zones (where the inner liner rubs against the outer short, where the waistband meets a pack hip-belt). Use a fabric shaver carefully to remove pills. Pilling is cosmetic — the short will continue to perform.
FlashDry™ Refresh
FlashDry™ is engineered into the fabric fibers — it doesn't wash out or wear off. If the short stops wicking moisture (usually after years of hard use), it likely means the fibers are clogged with fabric softener residue. Wash with a strip wash (Nikwax BaseWash or similar) to clear the pores.
