Body fabric made with 92% recycled polyester — diverts plastic bottles from landfill and reduces dependence on virgin petroleum fibers. Same durability and softness you'd expect from virgin polyester, with a better end-of-life story.
Three-Piece Hood
Three-piece hood construction follows the natural curve of the head for a better fit than the standard two-piece hood. Sits closer around the face without bunching or pulling, and stays up better on windy days.
Set-In Sleeves
Set-in sleeves (as opposed to raglan) provide a more tailored shoulder line — better arm mobility for climbing, reaching, and general kid chaos. The seam sits at the natural shoulder point rather than running diagonally to the neck.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild detergent — skip the fabric softener (it can coat the FLASHDRY-XD™ treatment and reduce moisture-wicking performance over time). Turn the hoodie inside-out before washing to protect the graphics.
Frequency
This hoodie will get dirty. Don't over-wash if it's just a small spot or smell — spot-clean first with a damp cloth and let it air out between wears. Less washing = longer-lasting graphics, better fabric performance, and less environmental impact.
Graphics Care
The graphic techniques used on this hoodie (screen print, heat transfer, woven labels) are designed for repeated wash cycles, but they still prefer cool water and gentle cycles. Avoid harsh scrubbing directly on the graphic — let the washer do the work. Inside-out washing helps preserve them longest.
Stain Treatment
Grass, mud, juice, marker, ketchup — kids will get everything on this hoodie. Pre-treat stains with a dab of liquid laundry detergent or a kid-safe stain remover before washing. Avoid chlorine bleach — it breaks down recycled polyester fibers and the elastane in the body.
Drying
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. The 187 g/m² body fabric dries quickly. Skip high heat — it can damage the FLASHDRY-XD™ treatment, shrink the recycled polyester slightly, and weaken the elastane recovery.
UPF Care
UPF protection is built into the fabric weave, not coated on top. It won't wash out — but stretching the fabric can temporarily reduce coverage where the fabric is stretched thin. Avoid hanging heavy items on the shoulders or stuffing the hood too full.
Hood Drawcord (if present)
If the hood has a drawcord, check it's securely tied before washing to prevent it from pulling out or tangling with other items in the load. Most kids' TNF hoodies use pull-on hoods without drawcords for safety — check the specific garment.
Storage
Store folded in a drawer or on a shelf. Hanging hoodies long-term can stretch out the shoulders, especially in heavier-weight kids' sizes. Refresh between wears by hanging on a hook overnight — the moisture-wicking fabric will air-dry quickly.
Outgrown? Hand-Me-Down Ready
Once your kid outgrows this one, the FLASHDRY-XD™ durability and reinforced construction make it a great candidate for hand-me-down to a younger sibling or neighbor. The recycled polyester body holds up better than cotton to multiple wearers and wash cycles.
