Cleaning
Wipe down the 1000D recycled polyester body and the phthalate-free PVC-coated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. For dirt in the seams or wheels, use a soft brush. Avoid machine washing or soaking — water inside the hard-shell chassis and wheel housings can cause long-term damage.
Wheel Care
Periodically clear hair, lint, and small debris from the custom-molded wheels — wrapped debris can cause the wheel to bind or roll unevenly. Wipe the wheel housings with a dry cloth after dirty trips to prevent buildup.
Zipper Care
Keep the long main zipper free of debris and periodically lubricate with a dry zipper lubricant (like Nikwax Zip Performance) if it starts sticking. The ergonomic U-pulls are designed to be gripped firmly — never force them.
Handle Maintenance
The compression handle is built to lock in extended and retracted positions. Avoid forcing it past the natural stops. Wipe the handle shaft periodically with a dry cloth to keep the extension mechanism operating smoothly.
Drying
If the bag gets wet (rain, snow, or a spilled drink inside), wipe the exterior with a dry cloth and air dry at room temperature with the main compartment open. Never use a dryer or direct heat which can warp the hard-shell chassis and damage the PVC coating.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — UV exposure degrades the PVC coating and can fade the fabric over time. The bag stands upright on its wheels, making it easy to store in a closet, garage, or under a bed between trips. Use the compression straps to keep the bag tidy when stored empty.
