Skip Pack is classic JanSport style re-imagined for the modern day. It has a roomy main compartment, easy access from the back panel, and a laptop sleeve. With a side H2O pouch and a top accessory pocket, you’re all a-go for new adventures.

Water Bottle Pocket
A side water bottle pocket sized for a 32 oz insulated bottle — the H2O pouch the description leads with, positioned for one-handed grab without removing the pack. The elasticized opening grips the bottle neck on a walk, and the pocket lays flat when empty so it doesn’t bulge into the side profile.
Laptop Sleeve
A dedicated padded laptop sleeve inside the main compartment — the protected zone that keeps a 13″ to 15″ laptop from sharing space with keys or a water bottle. The sleeve is positioned to keep the device’s weight close to the wearer’s back for better load balance on a long commute.
Top-Loading Design

Spot Cleaning The Recycled Polyester Body
Wipe the 100% recycled polyester body with a damp cloth and mild soap for everyday grime — the same baseline fabric used across the JanSport daily-carry line. Treat stains early; the tight weave releases fresh marks easily but holds onto set-in stains if left for weeks.
Back Panel Zipper Access Care
The back panel zipper is the most security-relevant zipper on the pack — the one that opens the main compartment from behind. Test the zipper action every few months and confirm the slider hasn’t loosened under daily use, since this zipper is the one a pickpocket would target first.
Side Compression Strap Care
The side compression straps see the most mechanical stress on the pack — cinched and released every time the load changes. If the webbing starts to fray at the buckle, trim it flush rather than pulling the loose threads. The buckles themselves should be checked seasonally for spring fatigue.
Water Bottle Pocket Care
The side water bottle pocket is the highest-moisture zone on the pack — wet bottles leak, and condensation builds on cold ones. Wipe the pocket interior weekly with a dry cloth and let it air-dry before rezipping. A damp pocket left closed will transfer moisture and mild to the main compartment lining.
Laptop Sleeve Care
The padded laptop sleeve concentrates the device’s weight in one zone — avoid forcing the laptop into the sleeve with the charger still attached, since the corner pressure on the foam can dent the padding. If the foam loses rebound after years of daily carry, the laptop edge becomes the pressure point instead of the foam.
JS™ Metal Zipper Pull Care
The Signature JS™ stamped metal zipper pull is the hardware that takes the most repeated abuse — test the pull occasionally to confirm the tab-to-zipper connection hasn’t loosened under daily use. A graphite-free zipper lubricant along the teeth will keep the action smooth if the bag sits unused for a season.
Hand Wash Between Seasons
Hand-wash the pack occasionally in mild soap and water and let it air dry flat — the recycled polyester dries fast. Empty the laptop sleeve and top accessory pocket before washing; small items left inside will stain the lining and scratch the zipper teeth during the wash cycle.
Storage
Store the pack empty and flat in a dry place between uses — a closet shelf or under-bed bin keeps the recycled polyester body from sitting in a crease for months. Avoid storing the pack stuffed with last week’s daily carry; residual moisture and body oil will set into the lining and the water bottle pocket.
