Women's Freedom Insulated Pants
Women's Freedom Insulated Pants
Snow Pants · Skiing / Snowboarding

Built for everything from groomers to back bowls, our best-selling snowsports collection has been reimagined with upgraded fabrics, improved construction, elevated trims, and an enhanced fit. The Women's Freedom Insulated Pants are built using waterproof DRYVENT™ technology, warm HEATSEEKER™ insulation, and a mobility-focused design, so you can look and perform your best from first chair to last lap. The articulated fit and clean, modern silhouette deliver a polished look that holds up off the mountain too.

DRYVENT™ Waterproof Shell
Waterproof, breathable DRYVENT™ 2L shell provides a barrier to rain and snow for dryness — sealed seams keep moisture from sneaking in through the stitch lines, and the membrane lets internal vapor escape so you don't end up soaked from the inside on a hard-charging run. Non-PFC DWR finish sheds light precipitation and snow spray.
HEATSEEKER™ Synthetic Insulation
HEATSEEKER™ synthetic insulation maintains warmth even in damp conditions — keeps the legs warm on the lift, on the chair, and during the long traverse back to the lodge. The synthetic fill keeps insulating when wet, unlike down, so a quick sit in the snow doesn't end the day.
Breathable Construction
Breathable fabric allows air and moisture vapor to pass through — helps regulate body temperature on high-output runs, long boot-packs, and warmer spring days when the snow is soft and the legs are working hard.
Mobility-Focused Design
Articulated fit is pre-shaped for the skiing and riding position — knees and seat are pre-bent so the fabric falls naturally when you're in a tuck, not bunching behind the knee or pulling at the waist. Lets you move through moguls, switch, and trees without the pants fighting you.
Inner-Thigh Vents
Mesh-lined inner-thigh vents dump excess heat on the warm-up hike, the spring afternoon, and the boot-pack to the sidecountry — open the zippers and the pants vent without letting snow in. Closed, they're fully sealed for storm-day riding.
Adjustable Waist Tabs
Adjustable waist tabs on both sides let you dial in the fit at the waist without a belt — accommodates layering changes through the day and the natural waist measurement shift between cold and warm conditions.
Hand Pockets
Zippered hand pockets at the waist — sized for a hand warmer, a trail map, a lip balm, or the keys to the car at the base. YKK® zippers stay sealed when you're sitting in the snow.
Secure-Zip Thigh Pocket
Secure-zip pocket on the thigh — the safe spot for a phone, a credit card, a season pass, or a couple of folded bills for the cafeteria. Stays closed when you're in the trees, the park, or rolling around in the snow.
Boot Gaiters
Internal stretch boot gaiters tuck over the boot and seal out snow at the ankle — no snow down the boot on deep days, no need for a separate pair of gaiters for the average resort day. Elastic gripper holds the gaiter tight to the boot.
Reinforced Kick Patches
Reinforced kick patches at the inner ankle and lower leg — protect the pants from the sharp edges of ski boots, crampons, and the repeated abuse of walking through the parking lot in ski boots. Adds years of life to the high-wear zone.
Jacket-to-Pant Integration
Jacket-to-pant integration with snap tabs and a powder skirt connection — connects to a compatible TNF jacket to seal out snow at the waist, no matter how many tomahawks you take in the deep stuff. Works standalone too.
Recycled Materials
Body fabric incorporates recycled materials — keeps plastic out of the landfill without sacrificing the durability, waterproofness, or breathability the Freedom line is known for.

Machine Wash Cold
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild technical wash product — no bleach, no fabric softener. The softener can coat the DRYVENT™ membrane and the DWR finish, reducing both waterproofness and breathability. Zip all zippers and close all pockets before washing.
Tumble Dry Low
Tumble dry on low heat for 20-30 minutes after the wash cycle. The gentle heat reactivates the DWR finish on the face of the fabric — when water stops beading on the surface, a low-heat tumble dry is the easiest way to bring it back. Do not iron or dry clean.
Restore DWR
When the shell starts to absorb water instead of repelling it, re-treat with a spray-on or wash-in DWR designed for technical outerwear. Reactivating the DWR every 6-12 months keeps the pants performing like new and prevents the face fabric from wetting out (which makes you feel cold even with the insulation).
Storage
Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and degradation of the membrane. Avoid compressing for long-term storage — extended compression can weaken the waterproof laminate. Make sure the pants are fully dry before long-term storage to prevent mildew on the insulation.
Zipper Care
Lubricate zippers periodically with a silicone-based or beeswax-based zipper lubricant. Avoid getting sand or de-icing salt in the teeth. If a zipper sticks, work it open and closed gently rather than forcing it — the storm flap on the inseam vents is the most likely to seize after a season of salt exposure.
