Component Breakdown
Rhythm™ Core (Aspen / Paulownia)
"Uniquely shaped and designed to complement the mechanics, geometry, and riding style of female snowboarders, we rely heavily on aspen to make this core snappy and agile, while placing lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail to reduce swingweight and ease turn initiation." — K2's women's-specific core: aspen-dominant for snap and agility, paulownia in tip and tail to reduce swing weight. "Comprised of Aspen and Paulownia, the world's fastest-growing hardwood."
ICG™ 10 Biax Glass with Carbon
"Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity." — ICG 10 Biax fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers. "Dependable edge hold on long traverses or carving at any speed."
Sintered 4000 Base (Stone Finish)
"Our Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability." — K2's premium sintered base.
Combination Camber Profile
"The K2 Extravision snowboard features a Combination Camber profile that places camber in between the feet for snap, stability, and adds rocker profile outside the bindings for playful and intuitive turn initiation. A small amount of rise in the tail helps keep the board lively and predictable, while a long-extended rocker profile in the tip helps to ease turn initiation and float in powder." — Camber between the feet for edge hold and pop, subtle rocker in the tail, long-extended rocker profile in the tip for powder float.
Directional Shape
Directional shape with traditional camber profile. "An all-mountain women's snowboard made to do it all while giving you the confidence to show 'em what's what, anywhere on the hill."
Hybritech™ Construction
"Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech™ is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech™ so revolutionary." — K2's hybrid construction.
